When do these two couples break up for good: Max & Lorelai and Rory & Dean (not an exact episode just an approximate time)?

I just finished season 1, and I am so aggravated! I really dislike both of these couples! Most of the reason is actually for the guys :) I really don't like Dean o Max, Max especially. They're just boring, unlikeable characters to me. Both relationships are like that too. Boring, unlikeable. I can deal with Rory & Dean, they're an okay couple, but I still wish they would break it off for good. But I especially despise Max & Lorelai. Their relationship seems almost unhealthy from all their fighting! I don't see how getting married would help. They'd just get a divorce. So I'd just like an approximate fecha to when both these couples break up. Not a specific episode, but something like 'Max and Lorelai break up halfway through season 2 and Dean and Rory break up 1/4 through season 2.' That way I have something to look adelante, hacia adelante to, because I really amor this mostrar just not the couples!
