reports filming will take place in the city for three days, and spotted Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Hafthor Bjornsson arriving at the location to start shooting scenes for the new season.

has acquired a beautiful batch of photos from today’s filming on the city’s fortress walls, showing Headey and Coster-Waldau, along with a

director. We’re also treated to a great view of the new armor for Cersei’s Kingsguard, worn by a couple of those aforementioned extras.

Here we see director Jeremy Podeswa talking with Headey. Podeswa is directing the premiere and the finale of season 7. We don’t know which episode this is from, but if I had to guess, I’d put money on the premiere. And is that the back of the Mountain’s head I spy?

The Kingsguard, under their new queen, have updated armor to match her severe black and silver designs. The emblem on the breastplate is similar to Cersei’s crown. I love this look, it’s so striking!

We get a better look at the location itself in these last photos. We can see why they returned to Dubrovnik- the city walls with the sea view are very hard to recreate elsewhere.

The Lannisters always look the best out of the bunch, so badass, the rest looks lame in comparison.

Oh hell yes, that new Queensguard get-up is insanely hot. Not crazy about the helmet design but the rest of is absolutely beautiful. Want.

I won’t say I dislike the helmet design but it is a little unusual. It gives me a Masters of the Universe vibe, like Man-At-Arms or Man-E-Faces or something… 😛

I do think Lena looks much prettier with the long hair/wig… but I’m a lover of long hair on ladies to begin with. 🙂 I’ve never thought Lena has looked better than she did as Gorgo on 300.

I see Ellaria and Tyene chained and being led through the crowd. Euron is definitely arriving in King’s Landing with a hell of a bounty. He’s also leading Yara on a leash. 🙁

Okay, I try to stay away from most spoilers (but I already know too much) but yeah, this parade could be a very dark and epic scene !

Love the new armour, the only thing is I thought Cersei would embrace her Lannister side more since there are no longer any Bartheon’s in her life aka gold instead she’s more going for black the Targaryen color that Dany and her people are also wearing this season. Are Dany and Cersei gonna have a fashion off in the Dragon Pit on who looks better in black?

The show should have had Team Cersei in black and Team Dany in red.

Did you see how badass Euron’s horses look? I thought Ironborn were non-fancy people like the Northerners and live in a cold and wet climate 😛

The question though is Why is Cersei in black? Is it to match her heart lol? Why aren’t her Queensguard wearing her house’s sigil like they are meant to? Jamie stands out as he is the only person in Gold now.

Why should Dany though give up one of her main house colors to Cersei? She already shares dark colors with Stark and Greyjoy. Red is a bit more iffy if not done the right way it can be a bit tacky. Besides going by what her brother wore at her wedding and illustrations Targaryen’s wear mainly black with a splash of red, elegantly done but not overpowering.

Dany doesn’t own the color black. Red outfits have been worn on the show and they were very pretty. Cersei is also in mourning, so the black is expected. And maybe she wants to distance herself from the other Lannisters in her family. Who knows… The queensguard have her house sigil on their shoulders. The thing on their chest looks like the same design Cersei had on her crown in the season 6 finale. I think Clapton called it a deconstructed lion or something.

Cersei might have decided to keep the hair short of course, but I don’t think a lot of time passed between the walk of shame and the scenes these pictures belong to.

Cersei will find out that she is pregnant in early episodes, I think either ep1 or ep2, because the leaks say that she will tell Jaime immediately and Jaime probably leaves KL in ep2 and doesn’t come back before the final episodes. She got pregnant just before Jaime leaves for Riverrun (well the baby may not really be Jaime’s, in the books it probably isn’t, so she might have gotten pregnant later too but she will claim it’s Jaime’s and that she got pregnant before he leaves, so it doesn’t matter).

So my guess is that she is around 2 months pregnant when Jaime returns to KL in season 6 finale (or maybe 1 if she actually got pregnant later) and she may be 2 months pregnant in these pictures, definitely not more than 3.

In season 7, Jaime and Cersei plot in KL probably starts right after season 6 finale, and this is ep1. If Jaime has been away for 2 months, I think about 3 months passed between the walk of shame and these scenes.

Different storylines progress in different paces, and it may not mean that those events happen at the same time just because we watched them at the same time. Jaime-Cersei plot in season 6 covered only 3 months of time span, but I think the north and Essos plots covered more, maybe at least 6 months. That would explain Varys’ crossing oceans.

But why is Cersei not wearing that same coronation dress if it’s ep 1? And why is she not wearing her crown? And it looks like they are maybe looking at the sea as if some ship is arriving?? Lol its killing me not knowing if its ep 1 or 7. At least we know the euron leak is ep 3.

A common response might be “perhaps one of Qyburn’s new inventions.” Maybe it’s not a prop but an item normally at that site that they didn’t move yet. shrug

Well it’s not like it’s the same day 🙂 Maybe a week later after her coronation, or something like that.

I think most Lannister’s are dead now, we lost Kevan and Lancel in the wildfire explosion so Jamie, Cersei and Tyrion are the only ones really left. So unless Jamie and Tyrion have children their house will die out completely.

I know Dany doesn’t own Black, it looks cool but I miss all the bright colors all the houses used to wear but now they all seem to be wearing black.

Targaryen fans don’t want Dany to wear just Black or just Red, they want her to wear the proper black clothes with the side red cape in the illustrations of other Targaryen’s, they’ve all been waiting years for it because she is probably the only character who has never worn her house colors before. It almost seemed like she made her house color Blue for a long time which the designer said she wore for Drogo’s tribal markings. I’m sure people would like Jon to wear the same but I don’t see that ever happening honestly.

I just remembered Cersei was wearing black before Tommen died so it’s not for mourning, unless she mourning any empathy she once had.

But she was mourning Myrcella before Tommen? She was in black all season 6.

She was still mourning Myrcella at the time of Tommen’s death.

Some people still don’t believe the reddit leak but I’m convinced that it’s true. All set spoilers supported the leak so far, and nothing the leaker said was debunked. Of course there may be some things s/he didn’t mention or maybe interpreted wrong, but overall the leak is reliable in my opinion, although everything wasn’t confirmed yet.

Euron may be arriving in ep1, and maybe the naval battle will happen in ep2, and Euron’s parade in KL ep3.

That was more of a deep dark navy almost like what Dany was wearing in her conversation with Tyrion in the last episode. Then they both wore a full on black outfit in the last episode Cersei when she used wildfire and Dany when she was on the ship sailing to Westeros.

She was wearing black because Myrcella died and now she’s wearing it because Tommen died.

The Lannisters have a lot of cousins as mentioned in both books and show, so they won’t die out if Jaime and Tyrion have no kids.

Joffrey or Tommen didn’t always walk around with a crown. Usually they would take them off in the throne room. Besides they weren’t exactly shooting in the pic just going over lines
