 producers have been nominated once again for the 2016 Producer Guild Awards.  Also, 

has made it onto some more End of Year lists!

The 2016 Producer Guild Awards are coming up soon and

producers, David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Bernadette Caulfield, Frank Doelger, Carolyn Strauss, Bryan Cogman, Lisa McAtackney, Chris Newman, and Greg Spence, have been nominated for the Norman Felton Award for Outstanding Producer of Episodic Television (Drama).

continues to make it onto End of Year lists. The Guardian listed

as the 32nd best TV show of 2015. FlickeringMyth included it on its list of the 6 Best TV Shows of 2015 and Paste put it in at #10 on its 25 Best TV Shows of 2015 list.

Time also listed Jon Snow as the 6th most influential fictional character of 2015, outranking Sadness from

Pardon me Brits for being confused at how low GoT is ranked on this list because I am unfamiliar with these other entertaining shows like #29 Great Canal Journeys, #21 The Great British Bakeoff, #12 Cucumber?

I meant that I love GOT and its stars so much, that I want for them to reach higher than the 6th place. I must admit, that 32nd place made me furious.

Did they? I often check out entertainment sites/blogs and neither had a strong presence in reviews or stories. If anything characters like Sansa and Ramsey were getting a lot of mentions (probably due to the wedding night scene).

Most influential? Stannis, if only for those hundreds of “Fewer” memes.

He sees and feels the perspective on both sides of the wall. He experiences the malevolent maelstrom firsthand. He then tries to warn of the coming doom and save the masses from themselves and their ignorance. And for that, he gets stabbed in the gut and chest by those who have vowed to listen and watch and protect the land from the coming maelstrom.

Sign of the times….condemn and vilify those who sound the horn three times. Ignorance is bliss.

The SAG Award nominations are tomorrow; the cast as a whole and Dinklage can be assumed to be nominees; the SAG TV categories have no lead/supporting distinction, so it’s an open question if Headey gets in this time (she hasn’t, to date).

I think the show has a good shot at Ensemble this year (though I thought that last year too), so, for the record, the people in line to be nominated/potentially win (number of episodes in brackets):

And, of course, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who wasn’t in this season at all. This is actually a much better ratio in terms of regulars getting nominated than last year, where the Dragonstone people, Rose Leslie, Bran and co., etc. all missed as well. This year they either made it or weren’t on the show.

Cucumber is a fictional drama about gay life. Needs more lesbians and bisexual women imo.

Great Canal Journeys is what it sounds like; Britain is networked by historical canals.

Great British Bakeoff is a phenomenally successful cookery show that I don’t watch. Most of the rest of the nation does, however. I daresay it has more popularity than GoT because shortbread and meringues appeal to all ages, yet a man being stabbed in the guts may not.

I saw on twitter couple of fan made posters and not bad. I expect more posters in January and then trailer around end of that month or start of February.

They want to milk out this Jon Snow situation with this poster for season 6 or teaser trailer. They will probably kept this for some time. I’d be interesting if they use some Jon footage from season 6 like his body laying on the ground, some snippets from post FTW, Mel with his body or if they will totally skip this.

Hey, I live in Argentina and my sister (she knows got, but she doesn’t watch it) saw a poster with dany on it. This is quite interesting as the only poster we know is about Jon.

ps2: I asked her if it was the same poster as the one going around in the web similar to the Jon’s poster, but she said it was different.

I am going to walk around the streets where she thinks she saw it, who knows. However she may have confused or something, maybe its fanmade or whatever.
