Lacey Mosley is the vocalist from Flyleaf, a Texas alt-rock band that's gearing up for their segundo año on Korn's Family Values tour. Kidzworld sat down to chat with the southern rocker about life on the road as a rising rock star.

Sindy: So you're just wrapping up the Justice & Mercy Tour? How are tu feeling?
Lacey Mosley: I feel great.

When did tu first realize tu wanted to sing o be in a band?

My mother did, I'm still deciding actually.

Well the thing was, my mom was a musician and we were really poor growing up so I never thought this was really possible. So when it all happened it was like...You never know what's going to happen tomorrow so I never thought I would do this for real. I did it for fun, tu know? It all happened.

How would tu describe your band's sound?

I guess we're kind of like a heavier, darker kind of rock. I don't really know. We try to make the música correspond to whatever the story is in the...

Christian teens say they’ll feel comfortable inviting non-Christian friends to hear bands that, like Flyleaf, have had success on mainstream as well as Christian charts. Flyleaf’s videos have played on mtv and VH1. They’ve topped online fan encuestas and had songs included in games such as guitarra Hero 3 and Rock Band.

Before a reciente concierto in Charlotte, N.C., Decision spoke with lead singer 27-year-old Lacey Mosley about her testimony, as well as the band’s excitement at participating in the Rock the River Tour....

BIO: While many loud rockers reopen old wounds por canto about their broken homes and broken hearts, Flyleaf confront past traumas to heal old scars and prove in the process that hope shines brighter than despair.

Flyleaf's self-titled debut album echoes with songs about abuse, neglect, addiction and dysfunction, and messages about overcoming adversity. And the band's wide array of brooding beats, atmospheric textures and lunging riffs compliment Mosley's emotionally revealing lyrics, which range from breathy and beautiful to scathing and aggressive.

First of all, I just want to point out the fact that I've never seen Flyleaf live. I only started getting into them about 2-3 years ago, but was never a true fanatic until about a año ago.
