Chapter 12
Kyae began to fight with the outsider. "I take it por 'outsiders' tu mean Sonic and friends? That must mean they beat us here. I’ll tell the doctor later." Kyae rushed and ran a hunting cuchillo down his arm. Her eyes widened as it got stuck in the elbow joint and sparks flew from it. "What the-" The Metal Outsider followed por punching her in the jaw, sending her flying into mount Grayne. She got up, coughing some blood, and faced the robot. “I am Metal Sonic, the superior one. Soon to be Robot overlord." he dicho walking towards her. "Huh, Kyae, the one and only. Soon to be victor of this fight!" She launched a pillar of fuego at Metal Sonic as she mocked his introduction. They fought for a long time, before they both sat either bleeding or, in Metal Sonic's case, had energy leaking out torn wires. "Let’s finish this." The robot's arm began to form into a type of weapon Kyae had never seen before. "Bang Bang." Flashes of fuego appeared at the end of the weapon followed por a few sliver metal drips in front of her where she had raised a heat shield, but two sharp pains in her shoulder pushed her back a step o two. “Right!" she grabbed the soul stone from her pocket. "A Chaos Emerald?!" "ORIN BLAST!" Flame launched a pillar of energy at Metal Sonic and sent him flying. “I wi-" She was silenced por the pain in her shoulder. She turned and limped towards her entrance onto the mountain. What she didn’t know was that Metal Sonic recovered and was following.
Chapter 13
Kyae typed in the keys to open the hidden door. "This fight is not over!" She turned around to the sight of Metal Sonic flying at her. A cuchillo entered her arm as she tried to block, and they both tumbled into the cave. The door shut behind them and Metal Sonic began to look at the gears and mechanisms that lined the walls. There where different water pipes and different levers and gears controlled the flow of the water. Others controlled a flow of magma that spiraled around the cave giving it light. Kyae got up and grabbed a sword off the wall. "So you’re not all primitive as I concluded earlier." Metal Sonic dicho beginning to play around with some of the gears. "Don’t touch that!" Kyae tore him away and threw him at the door. "I am going to open this door, and tu are going to get out!" Kyae hissed and she drew her sword. "Try and make m-" The robot stopped in the middle of the sentence and fell to the floor. Walking over, Kyae’s ears fell as she saw the words "30% of electricity remaining". "Electricity?" The thought of the lightning came into her mind and she began to drag the energy deprived robot towards the elevator. "Kill it with lightning!"
Chapter 14
Kyae used crutches and splints to fix the robot in a position where he was raising one hand to the sky. Tying a metal spear to the outstretched hand, she dashed off and hid behind a rock. Lightning crackled above them as the robots eyes faded back. “Rebooting…” When he was online he looked at the splints holding him in position. “Oh, f-“His statement was interrupted as a bolt of white colored lightning hit the spear in his hand. The wooded splints burst into flames and he fell over. Kyae walked over and looked at Metal Sonic lying on the stone face of the mountain. “I win~!” She grinned walking over to the edge of the mountain. “Charge complete: Full battery. Systems are now online.” The robotic accent behind her told her that she had failed to kill him. “God damn it…” Growling, she continued to a point where she had marked, in the ancient language of Orin, “Home camp”. Looking over the ledge, she gazed at the clearing where her camp was. Metal Sonic began to walk around the parte superior, arriba of the mountain and scan where she had written down landmarks. “This language is similar to the pictures from the “Project: F.L.A.M.E” documents we found on the ark.” Kyae heard him observe behind him. “Project Flame?” The words sounded familiar to her, but she couldn’t place a meaning to them. “Classified.” He dicho walking over to her. “You previously stated that Sonic and his friends where here. Where are they?” Kyae peered out into the enemy terrain as he asked her. When she spotted them, they were heading for a burning clearing. “Reinforcements eh...” she muttered at a low volume. Jumping off the cliff, Kyae began to glide towards the burning clearing.
