A siren is an ugly creature that in some stories is a bird-women. In others is just a creature similar to the mermaid. The main differences is that siren have beautiful voices that if men at sea here they will come and be eaten por them on a mysterious island in the Bermuda triangle. Mermaid on the other hand are pretty and have the entire below waist of a leave pescado with flamed us scales that glisten in the stories. They are harmless o if they do harm it's to there own kind and not us humans that is if tu are human?........
Well, In some storys they are the same, but they are very different. A siren is dicho to be much más dangerous and drowned o ate sailors o who ever was near, and sirenas was friendlier and help sailors who drowned.
Sirens sing sailors to their death. once the sailors fall into the water, the Sirens feast on them. sirenas are unable to speak and help sailors instead
Siren=bird women that lour men with their suductive voices to their deathes, later their bodies too became seductive. Mermaid=fish women that save men from drowning(I don't know much about mermaids).
A Siren is a evil mermaid and a mermaid is good so it is like two bad step sisters one (Siren) kills stuff. Other (Mermaid) brings Stuff alive... I think
Well it depends on what story tu have decided to go by. In some stories a siren is a vicious killer that looks a lot like a mermaid and sings tooeoplr to lure then in the water and drown them and then would eat the bodies. Others say the same thing but instead the are birds twice the size of an albatross with a beautiful women's face.
actually real sirenas & sirens both killed humans the difference is that if a mermaid fell in amor with tu a single kiss could grand tu the power to live under water & a bunch of other powers but a siren only saw humans as comida & nothing else! its the reason sirenas have a better rep!
