i think its a nice gesture since this competition was her idea and i havent given up hope she might be back at some point so i think seeing this would please her :)

Again, not wanting to sound rude but.......You can't fit the name in the icon. The name is in the title, having FGT is no more informative than having a fanpop star.

I was mentioning to Germany earlier that debs has been gone long enough that several new active users don't know who she is. I'm all for giving her a tip of the hat somewhere, but I don't think everything should be debs-centric. I think it'll alienate new users.

Even though bliss and dazl came back for the Fanpoppies, before that no one was really tipping the hat to them and hooch.

I don't think it looks appealing as an icon to users, creative yes, but it could turn newer users away.
