Don't worry, we won't shut down fanpop like we did during the fanpoppies. That timing was...unfortunate. But really, the site had reached the breaking point (we needed to upgrade bandwidth and servers REALLY badly at that point earlier this year). There are no server upgrades scheduled in the near future :-)

ooh random question..in all highschool dramas they all make this big fuss aboot opening their locker with a combination lock etc etc but when they wlk off in a huff they just slam the door closed and never adjust the lock..whats that all aboot?

The lock opens once and resets. You don't need to spin the wheel to get it to lock again, so it doesn't work like some padlocks where you do have to set the lock to a different number. You just need to shut it.

As I recall - it was many years ago, after all - it could be very irritating when you shut it and then realized that you forgot just one more thing you needed. Then you had to enter the combination lock again to open it. The thing they never show on these programs is how persnickety the locks are: you usually have to enter the combination three or four times before it will actually open.

Oh, and by the way, the little crocodile song is pretty cute. I had no idea what you meant, so cheers for providing the link to the video. I figured it was either a children's cartoon...or an advertising mascot for schnapps!
