Tarah showing off those adorable kids of Shadd and Shaylie!
We've noticed that quite a few of the fanpoppers have shared a ton of awesome personal pictures in the spot image galleries. Temptasia and alinazeer have shared pictures of their kids. Johnminh has publicado some great pictures demonstrating the flexibility of his legs as well as his face. PkmntrainerJ has put up a bunch of hair photos. And DrDevience has shared personal fotos of her travels all over the globe not to mention her snazzy fanpop gear. We also have noticed that users like to mix up their user iconos every so often to keep things exciting and fun. tu acted and we responded por building...

Now I know a lot of us just find images, save them and don't say where we find them, too much work, right? With general images, that's not that bad. With avatars/icons...some people would appreciate if tu did credit them. My main problem with noticing the crediting is in fan Art.

fan Art isn't just a foto o picture created por someone for tu to just take and claim as your own. It's something someone has created themselves. A lot of people have to put hideous water marks on their work after a while if people see it as a grab and take situation.

All it takes is when tu find the picture add it straight to fanpop and have the page still up of who it belongs to. Write their name/screen name and what site it's from and this can clear up a lot of awkward preguntas of "did tu make this?" and unhappiness of people finding their work uncredited on other sites.

Just something tu should think about when tu post fan Art siguiente time. Thanks :)

Having already reviewed the website Cafe Press over on Epinions awhile back, I do not plan to go into the details of that website here today. I do, however, want to let other fanpop members to know just how great the fanpop stuff is.

I ordered the white Hoodie, the black long-sleeved t-shirt for women, the large coffee mug, and a sticker to put on my iMac. Hmmm I should have gotten two of those... one for my suitcase. Damn. but I digress...

I will say that it is easy to order from Cafe Press. My only gripe with them is that they don't take Paypal. tu do have to give up the ol' Credit Card...

This morning, I was rummaging through my parent's closet and found some navidad presents (yes, they were in the same place they are every year, but that's beside the point) and I took a sneak peek at them. Some were for my brother, but what I saw for me made me very happy.

After I finished looking through the presents, I returned to my room only to think "Wow, I really wish I hadn't looked through that stuff. Now not everything is going to be a surprise."

Spoilers remind me of this same dilemma. I ALWAYS want to look at the spoilers, but I know that if I do, then the episode will be spoiled...

A feeling of achievement, no matter how small, is still great.

Wow! About one día ago, I got my first props! I was ecstatic! Temptasia gave me apoyar for the Office videos I was contributing. And, then I realized something: recognition is what we really base our actions off of.

I first joined fanpop because I wanted to watch some cool videos, and because I was bored. I didn't really plan on doing much on it, just registrarse a few key spots (my favorito! TV shows). As I delved further and further into what this website had to offer, I began wanting to be a part of it. I began seeing names everywhere (Chel, Temptasia, Benji) and I realized I wanted to be recognized....

One year down (and then some) and getting better all the time...
OK, OK, so I realize I'm a couple months late for the actual one año anniversary of the site launch (to anyone outside of the staff), but I still can't let it pass without notice. So I challenge you, the fanpop fan, to write a little something about fanpop, to mostrar your appreciation for this site that we've come to know and love.

Since this is the first time we've done one of these things, I'm suggesting haiku to start, because it's short, easy, and most everyone knows how to do it.

However, in case anyone does not remember how haiku works, here's a quick primer. In English, it's simple: a line with five syllables, then a line of seven syllables, then a last line of five syllables. No other structure is necessary.

Here's an illustrative example of the form:

One two three four five
Two three four five through seven
Seven eight nine ten

...which has nothing to do with fanpop. tu can do better, can't you?
