Hello fanpoppers! Gabriella here with some things about Fanpop. Just wanted to say some things...

According to current fanpop users, the people [on fanpop] are annoying and mean. Well let me just comentario on that- that is true!

Yeah, I could be mean at points but this is the dang internet! Nobody MUST like you! It is a choice to like one another but tu have to mostrar some respect!

When tu look at a user's profile. tu may think: Oh.. so this person likes glee and scooby-doo? What tu think is different from what tu do. Remember that. If tu go on their wall, before tu post hate and though messages think: Will it hurt them?

Some are strong and don't care about what people say about them. They mover on. Others, get highly offended and that's where tu end up being the bully! They're the victim, your the bully!

It's not a great thing knowing that right? Nope. tu want to know a certain amount of people like you.

Now I just want to quickly get into this subject- Justin Bieber. *insert groan here* Yes, tu might also wonder why this is a subject but Justin Bieber fangirls are also one of the most sensitive on Fanpop.

If tu observe the spot [Justin Bieber], they do care about Justin. And when a hater comes on, it hurts. Being called a whole bunch of trash at school may suck but at least tu know who is talking to them. But on the internet, it doesn't feel great because tu DON'T know WHO this person is!

Anyway, just don't hate the Biebs and watch what tu say to them.

Let's mover on.

If someone asks for a friend, don't say no and leave a paragraph saying why.

This is what I and many of tu might see:

No because blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah I hate Justin Bieber blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

Instead, tu might want to say:

I don't think we should be friends. I don't know tu and I don't like making friends I don't know. o something nice.

And if tu want to, will be willing to say yes, ask them (or just fan them, make sure they fan back), to fan you. :) Now remember, friends are different from fans.

fans are the friend version on fanpop. And if someone asks for fans, the best way to make them a better fan is to kindly tell them earn them.

Also, here some helpful links.(You can right click [or left click, depends on how it is] on a link into a new window o tab, this leads tu to an article)

Thanks again. Anymore helpful enlaces o preguntas sin respuesta (yeah, read them first!), please post them in the comentarios and I'll answer them.
OK, everybody, let's all just take some deep breaths. I've been looking at comentarios within the last half hora about the new fanpop layout that has thrown all of us for a loop.

There was a similar outcry of disbelief over, what I am choosing to call, the link. I am here escritura this to gather everyone's collective panic and misgivings into one place, as well as to try and look at the positives of these reciente changes, in an attempt to placate some of your fears.

First of all, let's get the obvious out of the way. AH! OMIGAWD! fanpop LOOKS WEIRD AND IS ALL DIFFERENT! It's like facebook and YouTube...

Ah props. They used to be a way to acknowledge on a peer to peer level that someone has publicado something good. Back in my día we used to give apoyar if someone publicado a good video, o dicho something intelligent but now they're thrown out like...condoms in high schools? *shrugs*

What are props?
Props are small medallas that tu can give to other users if tu see them post something good.
eg; User_X posts a good video, User_Y gives User_X a video prop!

How can I give someone a prop?
You can give users apoyar por going to their perfil and clicking on the "Give Props" button, then type them a short message...

Hi everyone,

I’m escritura this articulo because I believe the new muro system has real potential of improving the way people use the props. I realize that not all fanpoppers will follow my advize, but I still feel the urge to write this.

I’ve been on fanpop for quite some time now, and I’ve received and dado quite a few props. However, only a small amound of the apoyar I received were ‘real props’. To clarify: por ‘real props’ I mean apoyar received for actual content I’ve submitted. All the other apoyar were ‘thanks for being a fan – props’ o ‘happy whatever día tu came...

Reason For This Article

Recently i finally found how to screencap a page on the internet. I had been looking for ages and finally i found out how to.Naturally i was very pleased and was waiting for a chance to use it.
 My Joy was short lived
My Joy was short lived

Days went by,days turned into weeks and after a mes and a half i found nothing. For the times i had been on fanpop i had read the funniest, silliest things in spots and now that i could finally share them ,everyone became sensible?
 It felt like that unfortunately

After my long wait i got a message, but it wasn't what i was hoping for. I was expecting...

This is a little game I made up just because I was bored. I enjoy it, so I figured I’d share it.
Just a warning: This game is only fun if there’s a spot you’ve added a lot of imágenes to, but enough have been added por other people to make it challenging.

So, the object of the game is to... get lots of points? And to encourage proper image etiquette.

Be sure to keep something handy to keep track of your points! (Paper and pencil, blank word document, calculator, etc.)

Step 1: Maneuver over to your favorito! spot (or preferably, the spot you’ve contributed the most imágenes to)

Step 2: Look at...

The Fanwhore: Have tu ever been added por someone, and then when tu went to their perfil to possibly add them back, saw only posts with things like "Thanks for the add!" as far as the eye could see? Congrats, you've just met a Fanwhore. This person is pretty much just obsessed with getting fans. They can spend hours adding people, and will usually add back anyone who adds them. They tend to have obscenely large numbers of fans, and to get them obscenely fast. Can go ballistic if they haven't gained at least five new fans in the last hour.
Also, some Fanwhores tend to reform after a while,...

How long have tu been on Fanpop?
I've been on here since 2011, on a different account of course. I left because there was way to much going on with that one. I re visit sometimes.
I'm thinking about leaving tho.

Which club are tu most active on?
Anime, there would be más but they're dead. I really wish most of the clubes will get back active again. One día huh?

Which Club is your favorite?

Nobody likes it when others ruin their fun por telling them the end of the story. Some people just aren't as caught up with others because they're busy o haven't gotten around to it. Whether it's your favorito! TV mostrar and you're a few episodes behind o a book that tu haven't read yet, the last thing tu want is for someone to tell tu what happens. Spoilers can ruin the fun for everyone else and the last thing we want to do is take the fun out of your favorito! stuff.

A lot of users were unhappy when fans were making picks that were spoilers during the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly...

Alright, so this is sort of in conjunction with a lot of other soapbox articles, namely Temptasia's two artículos on link and link. It is also a sister articulo to thecon's link. Additionally, it's minutely related (like a very distant cousin) to megloveskyle's articulo on link. But I really wanted to stress the importance of constructive criticism here. So at the risk of sounding (exceptionally) redundant, I wish to discuss the importance of expressing yourself, taking responsibility for your actions, and not rating and running. Forgive me if this is all too familiar (thecon's articulo summed...

Part one can he found link
Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. comentarios that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, o are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate o nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a comentario like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? o do they not...

I have had technology since I was three. Playing link and link on my SNES against/with my family (parents included!) were part of my childhood. I came onto the internet when I was around eleven, still fueled por a need for technology, rarely seen without my Gameboy and link in it. I had to, as most people, find a place on the internet to settle into. I tried many places, first setting myself up a site at link, probably back when Dave and papa were still there and hadn't even started to think of fanpop yet.

As I grew older and más knowledgable about the internet and life in general, I went searching...
