Can tu take control of a club tu didn't create?

There's one club I'm very much active on. But it's just me.
The one whom created it is long gone.

Me wanting to take control of it is mainly how it looks.
- icono doesn't fit
- No banner
- Weak motto
- The título isn't capitalized

I sent a message to Dave a few years back asking the same question. But he never responded.

Even if I personally can't take control, is there a way to fix those things?

So basically tu can't do it yet, but it's going to happen soon! And it sounds like it's one of the parte superior, arriba priorities too, so it'll likely happen before a lot of the other future changes listed here.

Changing the iconos and banners sounds like it'll be straightforward. I don't know how difficult it'll be to alter mottos and club names (I'm in a club where the name is actually misspelt) but hey, maybe that'll come later!

Still, it's all exciting news that I thought you'd be interested in, and hopefully it's provided an answer to your question. ^^

tu can't change the images, Lema o título directly yourself. But tu can have the imágenes changed, and possibly the Lema too, if tu PM one of the F4 asking them to change it for you. It'd probably be best to have a encuesta in the club asking people's opinions on the new icon, banner and Lema though, to mostrar you're not changing stuff without anyone else's input. And I doubt renaming o correcting a club's name would be possible.

Out of the 479 other fans of the club I'm the only one who contributes to it. Otherwise I would create a poll. But I seriously doubt it would get any votes.

Even if youre the only one who votos on it, it'd still prove tu tried to discuss the issue. I don't know if the F4 would be willing to change stuff without.

very frustrating!

Maybe tu can ask your friends to vote on the polls, just to decide which banner, icono and Lema are the best for the club tu are trying to update.

tu aren't really supposed to have duplicate clubs, though. It's one of the things a club can be reported for (though reporting duplicate clubes doesn't seem to lead to anything being done)
