Bella pushed the leaves aside, and I stood beside her as I peered down at the unfamiliar girl kneeling there. Bella gasped; the small child looked up.

The first thing I noticed was how her huge, sad, chocolate brown eyes were exactly the same as Bella's had been when she was human.

Suddenly, for one second, I felt a vague recognition... but it dissappeared as soon as it had came, so I could no longer remember what I remembered about her.

So I let the fury consume me; it drove me faster, and, before I knew it, I was out the forest and onto the bank of a river.

I caught scent of vampire - a leech had been here recently. I recognized the scent; I knew it was some of the Cullens. I didn't care enough to work out who.

I listened with my ears and mind to the fight outside. Edward got a hit at Jacob, and I winced, feeling Jake's pain.

Seth winced too, but when Jacob clawed his way back, getting a swipe at Edward, he winced again. Seth wanted Jacob to lose, but he wanted the bloodsucker to lose too.

Seth's loyalties were divided; it made me mad.

I heard Bella screaming at them to stop. I hoped they didn't listen to her. It would serve her right if she lost them both. She deserved all the pain in the world for the agony she'd caused Jake to have.

His mouth opened in shock, and I quickly told him the rest, insisting that he not tell anyone apart from the other elders. He nodded, not questioning me. I did mad things, but they knew there was always a reason, even if I didn’t know it myself.

Peter, can tu go and get the other elders? Tell them about what I saw. I requested. Peter nodded, swimming off the go and find Chief; his segundo in command, Fred; and the other elders, Gerald, Tony, Richard and Thomas.
