Elite Four Lance Pregunta

So is Lance bad o good?

On Pokemon Quest o something when Ash and friends help Lance defeat Team Rocket and stop the radio waves that hurt the Pokemon, Lance is good. But in the Pokemon Adventures manga book, Lance is bad, so is Lance bad o good, im confused. I dont really care if hes good o bad, i still amor him!!!
