Personally, what would tu rate elfen lied. (as in age rated.)

I'm not even sure what it's rated here in Canada, but if I was the guy who had to rate it, I'd rate it R (18 and over), after all, it's loaded with the two B's: Blood and Boobs!

teenagers 15/ 16 and up it can be a really tough mostrar to watch even some older people may be squeamish. Not just at the gore and stuff but..... certain mature themes.

i would say 16+ o 15+ o 14+ that range

12G - means people of 12 o under may watch with parents guidance o permission.
To be honest i don't see anything wrong with youger people watching this. My two año old has watched Elfen Lied with me and he had no problem with it.
My youger brothers (aged 11, 13, 15,) both watched this after my parents dicho it would be okay.
Whenever i'm lending DVD's to underage persons i always ask their parents permission first and explain a bit about what they may find difficult about it.
For example, when my younger brothers wished to watch Elfen Lied, i told my parents there was nudity and a lot of blood and gore, with actual pictures of people being dismembered with 'invisible' hands.

Well in Australia the anime is rated MA15+ which is basically only for people 15 and over, i watched Elfen lied when i was 15 i think 15, 16i is a good age nothing younger(i disagree with kids watching violent things kids as in younger then 13 but i don't reccamend Elfen Lied to any one under 15)

It sure is stupid they rated DN 18+. It didn't contain sex o a lot of violence >.>.
I'd personally rate Elfen Lied 16+ I guess. But I can kinda understand why they rated it 18+ :P

Well I'm only 14 and I watched it, and it didn't bother me. I guess I would say 15+ though, because I know a lot of kids my age who wouldn't be able to handle it.

but I' say it depends on a person for example if tu have a weak stomache and are scared easily I wouldn't watch watch with 18 eighter...

Watched it when I was 11, so it depends on the watcher, really. I'd recommend it to older people though it also depends on maturity.

I watched it when I was 12 years old. For most 12 año olds it would be scary but not for me, but it does contain nudity and murdering and swears, so I would say tu should be about 14 o 15 just to be safe
