Living an outlaw lifeis hard and challenging.I'm courtney Stone a.k.a Killin' Courtney.I've been around the Chihuahaun Desert quite a few times before.It ain't the best time for me.I've been on the run for 9 years.(Since I was 8)It all started when my grandpa shot my dad and the rest of my family.He ran away from justice into the Chihuahaun Desert.I was the only one in the family that survived the shooting and followed my grandpa into the desert.He was drunk,of course, as I had the pistol in my hands for the first time in my young life and had a pretty goood feeling on how to work it.I closed my eyes,felt a tear run down my face a slowly squeexed the trigger.He was shot dead.A día after his death, the police found his cold body with me no where in sight.When they found my Grandfather's body,he had a strange sign on his chest;it was a C.Since that day,they've called me Killin Courtney and folks from Mexico to Texas know who I am.And every time I kill a person,I always leave my mark,the C on their chest.5 killings sice that day.I walked into a town with men leaning on the sides of buildings and posts.I kept my hat pulled down as it covered my forehead and a little of my eyes.Whistles filled my ears as I just kept looking down at my dusty boots.I walked into a bar as everyone looked up as I sat down on a taburete and ordered my shot.I gulped it down fast as a man came up to me and said,"Well hello there.I'm Duncan and what might you're pretty little name be?" "Courtney."said. "As in Killin Courtney?"he asked.I nodded."Awesome."he said.I looked up at him confused."I am a cold-hearted killer,and that's awesome to you?!"I dicho quietly."Yes."Duncan said."Why?!"I asked."1: tu ain't scared of nothin and no one,just like me.2:You got a weapon,just like me.And 3:You are pretty hot,just like me."Duncan dicho winkingand grinning at the end.I rolled my eyes and payed no más attention to Duncan."Please go away.And I'm askin' nicely."I said."Look,today is your lucky día little missy.You've just found yourself a sidekick."Duncan said.I got up from the taburete and dicho with my hands on my hips,"If tu think your SO confident and think tu can roll with me,then prove it."I stood centimeters away from Duncan as he leaned in to try to kiss me.I stood there for a segundo until I finally realized what was going on.I turned away quickly and walked toward the door as Duncan tripped a little bit.

Duncan's POV:I know sh'e playing hard to get,and I get that.But this chick is Killin' Courtney and she ain't afraid to spill a little blood.I still remember the last newspaper ad I read about her latest killing.A man's head chopped off and his limbs were gone.So I think I should keep my distance around her.Nah! Who am I kidding? I'm Duncan Childers, if she thinks for one segundo that I'm gonna keep my distance,SHE'S WRONG!I silently laughed to myself as Courtney called for me to come outside.I walked to where Courtney wanted me.We were quite some distance away from each other."What now?"I asked her."Fight.If tu thin kyou can stay with me,you gotta prove it to me and to yourself."Courtney dicho barley smiling to herself.She dropped her whip and slung it around in the air as it made a loud pop in the air.She grinned as I swallowed hard.
