Yeah!!!
I have issues. I think what they did with it was brilliant, the episode was fine and it completely works if they pulled a Firefly on him but from the POV of a renewed show I feel cheated. I don't want to know about most of the things that were revealed. I don't want Joss to be caught in a box of this ship now has to happen and this character can't die because I used them here. I feel like we lost a big hunk of what makes Joss shows Joss shows. I sit down to watch a Joss show and anything can happen, anybody can die. Not so much anymore.
I don't have an issue with the episode as much as what else was evolved. If they had cut out the main characters and made it just that stand alone group I would have been fine but I don't like have so many pieces of the puzzle already laid out before me.
I did love the episode though, and I'm really interested to see the journey between now and Epitaph one.
Also, this is terrible, but I'm annoyed to know Paul Ballard definetly wont die for so long. The upside of knowing Joss could kill off your favourite character at any moment is knowing he could kill off your least favourite character at any moment. Now I know Paul is safe *sulks*
