yes...but the newest movies have the DPs having personality and depth

Most of them make Bella Swan and Edward Cullen look full of personality (sad, really). However, some shows have characters with a lot of personality and depth. Examples include That's So Raven, Kim Possible, Lizzie McGuire, Hannah Montana (most of the old ones, actually)

I think it generally lacks depth because everything's too similar when it comes to characters and storylines, and the same stereotypes and archetypes keep getting used for every show.

Most of the shows are full of personality though! To the point where people complain about it being too cheesy and whatever else. I kind of feel like a lot of the live action shows would be better if they were cartoons.
