20.Clopin (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). This guy is awesome, no other way to say it. When I first saw this I didn't know whether he was a good guy o bad guy but now I realize he's not really either. He's the narrater of the story. And he's a very funny and quirky one too! Just the perfect guy to narrate such a great movie!
19.Timon & Pumba (The Lion King). This duo needed to be on this list. Their just so much fun! And I wouldn't even dare to seperate them, because I don't think they'd appreciate that. They work fine on their own, but not nearly as well they work together. Anyway, they help Simba deal with (or not deal..) his fathers death, then eventually help him defeat Scar. And add in the farting and hula-dancing, and we've got two winners!
18.Lumiere & Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast). Another duo, that only together can acheive hilarity. I probably amor Cogsworth a tiny bit more, but their both cool. I just amor watching Lumiere push Cogsworth's buttons and make him frustrated. Cogsworth can be such a grumpy bear...anyway, these two help fight off the citizens of Belle's town and make her welcome in the castle. And they help the romance part a little, as well. AND their french and british. What más do tu want?
17.The Genie (Aladdin). How could I have put him so low? >sigh< but everyone ahead of him probably deserves it. Anyway- this guy is AWESOME. He's hilarious, has oodles and oodles of pizazz, and is Robin Williams. It's so much fun to watch him switch from character to character, especially during the song "Friend Like Me". Plus, he's central to the plot. He makes aladdín a prince, saves his life twice, and is a good friend. Of course he works to the evil side for a bit, but that's not his fault. He still tries to help Al out from the bad guys side and is the best friend a person could ask for.
16.Pheobus (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). He may be able to be considered a hero, but I think Quasi estola that position from him. He's like Aragorn from LOTR, not the hero- but probably más heroic then the actual hero is. Pheobus is practically the perfect guy. Risking his life to save innocents, searching through all of Paris for Esmerelda, and leading a revolt during Esmerelda's burning...of course he got the girl! Plus, he IS kind of cute. I know that's the oppisite of what the movie was trying to teach you, but still!
15.Ryan Evans (High School Musical). I know, i just put High School Musical on this list. HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. Which I don't think even really counts as disney, since it's disney channel. And there's a HUGE difference between the two. But I like Ryan. He's the only thing I really like in the entire trilogy. But he's funny, hot, and gay. Plus, Kelsi is my alter ego. Which means I got him in the end (although he's gay...which doesn't make sense) YAY!!!! He also proves his bravery por finally going against his sister and working with the main characters to help them out.
14.Kerchak (Tarzan). Okay, warning...I like the old men characters. Now that we got that out of the way, here's Kerchak! The most under-rated disney death! Awww....anyway, this character is bad ass. Seriously, does he ever smile? EVER? But that's okay, that just makes him cooler. And he does so much to protect his ape family, even Tarzan, whom he doesn't like. In the end he dies for his family, and finally accepts Tarzan. AWWWW!!!!!
13.Kovu (The Lion King 2). Is he a sidekick? Probably not, but whatever. He's not human and he's in a sequel, so he would barely count as a hero. I amor this lion though. He's so noble, hot (for a lion), and brave. It's fun watching his tough exterior crumble. Watching tough characters get nicer is always a huge bonus. Plus, he get's woobiefied! I mean just look at the song, "Not one of us". How can tu not want to hug him?
12.Kaa (The Jungle Book). He's here for the same reason as "Trust in Me" was on my parte superior, arriba Songs list. I am kaa. It's like we share some weird bond o something. So he needed to be here, for memories sakes. Plus, he's a pretty cool character and is really funny.
11.Figaro & Chleo (Pinochio). These two are so. freakin. adorable. Even before all the technology that made pelaje, piel look petable- these two were born. And if tu didn't want to just steal them and pet them (or feed them i guess for Chleo) then tu were not human. They don't do much help to the story, but they do have to put up with a lot. Like Gepetto's determination to do anything he can to find Pinochio. And the fact that their becoming segundo rate to Pinochio doesn't help. But Chleo keeps her level-head the entire time and Figaro..well, he learns to cope. I just amor THESE TWO!!!!
10.Adventure (Pagemaster). Ever since I was little, I've loved this movie. And since Adventure is a pirate, he got a little extra credit. Plus, he's voiced por Patrick Stewart. PATRICK STEWART. And he's really funny :)
9.Jiminy Cricket (Pinochio). I amor him. He's probably the smartest of all the sidekicks. And not in a crazy scientist way. He's Pinochio's voice of reason and would do anything to keep that kid on the right path. Of course, Pinochio doesn't make that an easy job for him. But you've got to admire Jiminy's dedication and determination to fulfil his job. This little dude rocks!
8.Mushu (Mulan). I. Love. Eddie. Murphy. When I was younger, I used to be obsessed with him. I got over that, but Mushu is still cool. He's funny, sarcastic, loyal, and a good friend. mulan couldn't have asked for a better sidekick. Plus, he saves the día in the end, o helps out a lot. Yay, Mushu!
7.Donkey (Shrek). He's basically the same as Mushu, but in dreamworks. And voiced por the same guy, too! Anyway, I amor Donkey. He's loyal and brave, helping to save the day...but más importantly, he's so funny! I can completly relate with the fact that no one knows Donkey can talk, until he does. Then tu wish you'd never gotten him to talk. xD
6.Donald pato & Goofy (Disney). What would this lista be without them? Their the classic sidekicks of disney! Even though Donald probably doesn't want to admit it. Donald is hilarious though, in his short-tempered, easily frustrated way. And Goofy is hilarious in his idiocy. What would disney be without these two?
5.Phil (Hercules). I amor this movie. And Phil helps out so much. I mean, he trains Hercules. HERCULES. He's sort of like a newer-aged version of Jiminy Cricket. Except he helps with strength as well as character in Hercules. Without him, Meg would be dead and Hades would be ruling. And this guy is just...awesome!
4.Doc Hudson (Cars). When I dicho earlier I liked old men, I wasn't kidding. Doc is basically the arch-type of all the characters I like. Old, cranky, troubled past, but a big heart. R.I.P Paul Newman.
3.John Silver (Treasure Planet). I wasn't really sure if he'd count on the villains lista o this list, so I put him on here. I mean, in the end he's not all that bad of a guy. He takes care of the lonely Jim and acts as a father to him. Yeah, he DOES betray him later on, but he gets better. And he's a pirate. Earning him way más points.
2.Shifu (Kung Fu Panda). I realize my number 2 is not Disney. But c'mon, he deserves it! He's like the personality of all my favorito! characters. Like Doc he's an old man, cranky, troubled past, big heart, and he's a mentor. Add that to the fact that he's so small and adorable that tu just want to hug him! (though I wouldn't recomend it)
1.Mufasa (The Lion King). But what I like más then cranky old men are wise old men. o wise fathers, anyway. Add in the voice of James Earl Jones and Mufasa is practically GOD. He sends Simba on a journey to find himself, saves Simba's life, reminds him of who he is, and then shines down on him at the end of the movie. Plus, his brother is awesome as well. He' freakin' James Earl Jones- of course he won! Why do tu think Darth Vader makes it so high on lists?
