Hi guys, this articulo is on whether o not disney should make a film on a famous Shakespearean play.

What a Great Idea!

I think it's time for disney to try something different, so Shakespeare is definitely one of these ideas. Some of his famous plays are 'As tu Like It' o 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' that disney should give it a shot!

Not a Great Idea!

Many of his plays are very dark, morbid and sad for a disney film, in the likes of 'Macbeth', 'Romeo & Juliet' and 'Hamlet' just to name a few.

glelsey Well, Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet have already been loosely done by Disney... except they had far happier outcomes and were about lions. It would be interesting to see them produce a movie that was more obviously based on a Shakespeare play though. Due to Disney's "good always triumphs over evil" rule, I definitely agree with you in that it'd be wiser to do a comedy rather than a tragedy if the company is to stay as close to the story as possible. A Midsummer Night's Dream would be an excellent choice for the company because it's got a lot of comedy and a lot of romance (both of which are generally abundant in the Disney canon). I wouldn't mind seeing Disney tackle another tragedy of Shakespeare's, but like they did with The Lion King and its sequel, a lot would need to be changed so it is suitable for Disney's usual family-friendly audience. A comedy would definitely give them more opportunity to be faithful to the original!

I Can't Believe I got #10!

I amor all the disney Princesses, but I do like some más than others. Some WAY más than others. So I would like to share with tu my most reciente opinion, and order of the disney Princesses. Hope tu enjoy!
