First part of the disney sequel countdown. This may not be that well written, but I hope it’s still enjoyable to read. And sorry for the lack of pictures, I didn’t feel like looking for them and putting them in.
Journey to a New World
What it’s about: Pocahontas journeys to England to stop a war from happening.
Personally I was glad to see this movie leave first, and while some people agreed with me, others didn’t. Some felt like this movie messes up the first movie, while others feel like it has pretty good songs and animation. Some thing pretty much everyone that took part in this countdown agreed on: It’s just right down weird that Pocahontas has a new amor interest. While Rolfe alone is an okay character, he just doesn’t go well with Pocahontas. One más thing I like to comentario one before moving on; Uttamatomakkin, Pocahontas' silent bodyguard. He freaking rocks.
Trivia: During the “bear baiting" sequence, most of the sounds are real oso, oso de sounds, but one loud sound is actually an elephant.
BKG201: Journey to a New World has good songs and funny moments but I find it weird they changed the whole amor interest for Pocahontas.
Dreams Come True
What it’s about: The Fairy Godmother and the mice tell stories and put together a book for Cinderella.
While this movie does have it’s cute moments, en general, general people agreed that it wasn’t that good. The songs were pretty forgettable, the stories not that great, and the animación no where as good as the first. However, everyone did agree the Anastasia's amor story was pretty good.
Trivia: While in the original Jaq’s name is pronounced as “Jock” in this movie some characters pronounce it as “Jack.”
princecatcher93: This puts the first cine to shame. The songs are awful, the stories cheesy and it didn't keep the magic that Walt disney put in cenicienta in the first place.
Milo's Return
What’s it’s about: After reuniting with their friends, Milo and Kida help them investigate strange occurrences around the world that seem to have enlaces to the secrets of Atlantis.
While some like this movie and found some parts funny, others thought it had bad animación and that the story was rushed. Indeed since it was suppose to be the pilot for a T.V show, however after Atlantis: The lost Empire did bad at the box office, this movie was instead put together to be viewed like a full-length movie. For some people the story works, others not so much.
Trivia: The first story deals with the Kraken, and at the end of this story when Milo says it's up to people like Inger to raise their little ones in peace, a deleted scene shows that Inger's child has Kraken tentacles, implying it's not over, however this was cut because the movie was no longer a pilot for a T.V show.
KataraLover: This movie I actually really like but just like with cenicienta it would've been better off as a TV series. I mean that would've been one absolutely awesome TV show. I think the stories are fun, the characters are the same, and that Kida's naivety was funny.
Belle's Magical World
What’s it’s about: Four mini stories put together to teach kids to forgive, love, and be kind to one another.
I never seen this movie before, so I can’t really comentario on it, but I will say this; the animación looks really bad. So, let’s mover on. While some people felt like this movie ignore the original, others felt like it was better, with Belle being más flawed and realistic.
Trivia: Angela Lansbury doesn’t return as Mrs. Potts. Instead Mrs. Potts is voiced por Anne Rogers.
BKG201: Belle's Magical World ignores everything about the original and I will never watch it again.

What it’s about: After the death of his wife, King Triton bans música from Atlantica. Now it’s up to Ariel to mostrar him the error of his ways.
Most people didn’t care for this movie that much, however there were a few people that thought it was good. The people who did like it thought it was a sweet story the explained the origins of the original. However the people that didn’t like it felt like the plot was silly, some of the characters’ personalities were ruined, and were mixed about the music. Something everyone seemed to agree one: It was nice to see más of Ariel’s sisters, and that we finally got to see their mother, through a few felt like she dead in stupid way.
Trivia: There were a few continuity problems between this movie, the first one, and the T.V show. For example; how platija and Ariel met. The T.V series shows that they met when Ariel was still a child, while this film shows Ariel to have been older.

The zorro, fox and the Hound 2
What it’s about: After Copper joins a band of canto stray dogs, his friendship with Tod is put to the test.
People were mixed about this film. Some thought it messes the tone of the original while others found it to be a fun story. The animación is okay, the songs are fun, and it is a pretty cute story. However, it doesn’t fit into the timeline of the first movie in any way.
Trivia: The cricket that Tod and Copper chase through out the movie bares a resemblance to Squeaks, the oruga, caterpillar from the first movie.
AllergroGiocoso: Certainly one of the most underrated disney sequels, I think it's a very colorful and fun story. It may not capture the seriousness of the first movie but nonetheless it is certainly one of the better sequels in my book.
Tarzan 2
What it’s about: After an accident leaves Kala thinking that Tarzan has died and the other apes feeling like Tarzan has reached a fitting end, Tarzan runs away. During this time he discovers who he really this.
Most people agreed that the villains were lame and that the Zugor was stupid. However the animación was okay, and some even liked the idea of the movie, even if they went about it wrong. I don’t really have much to say expect I really enjoyed this movie.
Trivia: Phil Collins, who did the songs for the first movie, returned to do two new songs for this movie.
BKG201: In Tarzan 2 all the characters are stupid and the villains are the worst. At least the animación is okay.
The Return Of Jafar
What it’s about: Jafar returns to get revenge on Aladdin.
Generally, people liked this movie, especially Iago’s story line. However, while the songs are pretty good, they’re not as good as the original, and the animación is bad. To add to that, Robin Williams doesn’t return as Genie. Instead Genie is voiced por Homer Sim-I mean Dan Castellaneta.
Trivia: Disney's first direct-to-video sequel.
Angelica_AW: In the aladdín series, this is the first movie I saw. The animación isn't that great and I can't really remember the songs, but I still think this is a pretty good movie.
Kronk’s New Groove
What it’s about: While waiting for his father to arrive, Kronk tells some stories about almost having a wife and a large house on a hill, which his father has always wanted Kronk to have.
It was pretty much agreed that while this movie is okay and does have funny parts, it’s no where as good o as funny as the first.
Trivia: The name Kronk uses for his father, Papi, is Spanish slang for "Dad" o "Daddy"
KataraLover: I like it and it's a believable story but it's no where near as amazing as the original o the TV series.
The Hunchback Of Notre Dame 2
What it’s about: When a traveling circus comes to town, Quasimodo falls in amor with Madellaine. But when Madellaine’s boss, Sarousch steals the Cathedral's most famous bell, Quasi and Madellaine’s amor is put to the test.
People agreed that the animación is horrible, the songs pretty forgettable, and the villain….well, he’s kinda lame. However, people were mixed when it came to Zephyr and Madellaine. Some find them annoying, well others like them. The romance between Quasi and Madellaine was another thing people disagreed on. Some found it forced and stupid, while others like it and were happy that Quasi was finally finding love.
Trivia: Zephyr's name means "West wind."
AllergroGiocoso: Hunchback 2: The songs are annoying and the animación is really bad.
Stitch Has A Glitch
What it’s about: When Stitch starts to malfunction, it could ruin his friendship with Lilo.
While this movie is well liked, it was felt like it didn’t had much to the franchise. However, there were a couple of people who thought it improves upon the original.
Trivia: While Daveigh Chase voices Lilo in the other three cine and the T.V series, she was so busy working on Lilo & Stitch: The Series, that she hired her best friend Dakota Fanning to fill in for her.
KataraLover: I like it but I just don't think it really brought anything to the franchise like the other two and the TV series did.
