It's not that I think this is a bad moral at all, and I do like the message of not giving up hope or letting a bad situation get you down, I just find the others better. The other morals that focus on dreams or happiness just have something more proactive about them, because dreams do take more than wishing, they take work. Success isn't just a random gift, it's a prize for hard work, as it should be :)

I think this moral has been shoved down us enough

Dreams won't work by simply wishing for it. Wishing will only lead a person part of the way. If one really works hard to accomplish these dreams, then it will happen. Life's not always fair, but if one does something for the wish, the wish will do something back.

Being true to your heart? I wish the message would go a little deeper then that. I love the movie, but the moral really leaned on Honor more so.

Sorry to say that believing but not doing anything about it is no guarantee! Yes, you need to believe in your dreams but you also have to WORK for them. Otherwise there's no real way for them to come true unless you're the luckiest person alive or something! ;) Which not everyone can be!!! ;) LOL

If all you're going to do is believe and take no action, then that'd be preeeeeetty bad.

True love does NOT conquer all. There are some issues that a couple can never get over even when they are truly in love. A relationship takes compromise and sacrifice--- but there are certain things in life that people can't sacrifice if they ever want to be truly happy. And that does not mean they do not truly love their significant other. Issues like where to live together, religion, whether or not to have children...etc. are all issues that cannot be overcome simply by loving the person; You need to have a similar vision of your life together in order to truly be happy. It takes more than just love.

This belief is PART of why the American divorce rate is extremely high. People don't deal with their issues before they get married... they believe their problems will dissolve simply because they love each other. I wish that were true, but unfortunately it is NOT.

The most immoral movie. I searched some information in the Internet about its moral. It's interesting that a lot of people say that Anderson's tale has so important moral, but in Disney's movie there is no moral.
Never give up going after your dreams, even in the face of hardship. It is terrible to imagine if children follow only this one. Oh please no.
Of course it's just my opinion, and two-three weeks ago I wouldn't write such things. But now I think I have a right. So many fans black and offend my favourite princesses. So I think I can at least write what I honestly think, trying not to be rude unlike others.
