This is the most traditional of the recent DP films, both animated and live-action. It did get some criticism for being too "outdated" and not progressive enough, but these same qualities were lauded by Disney purists. It fits perfectly next to the original 1950 Cinderella classic and doesn't disparage qualities such as kindness and courage, nor the idea of being a princess. If anything, it further develops what it means to be a princess of one's own little kingdom and even expands on the idea of being a prince, as seen in Kit and Ella's conversation during the ball as she observes his portrait. This is also my personal favorite out of the films in this list for the very fact that it does not disparage classic Disney but instead reminds audiences of why Disney became universally loved in the first place. A perfect tribute imo to Walt Disney's legacy.

Definitely. Cinderella remake is the most faithful Disney remake (so far) with the original story. It brings same quality such as magic and charm as the classic one. I love how the remake didn't decrease Cinderella's traditional values like her kindness and courage. It has a little development and changes but it didn't rush the whole plot. This one is very, very similar (and slightly even better!) with the original one and definitely did not ruin the characteristic and values.

I am biased because most of my countrymen were employed in this film. It is a British production you know.

Tangled and Cinderella were not offensive. Yes, Tangled changed the original Rapunzel story, but so did every Disney movie. I don't find it offensive at all to the original princesses.

Cinderella did seem to bash the original Disney Cinderella a little bit like how she didn't leave her house to respect her family, but she could go to the town. The original made it seem like she wasn't allowed to leave the house at all, which I feel was better. (I do love this movie as well, but I think it does make the original character less appealing)

Honestly the only one of these that offends me is Enchanted, but Cinderella is the most faithful to its source material so I'll go with this one.

I don’t see TPaTF parodying the franchise at all. It plays the tropes pretty straight, doesn’t it? (Hardworking-ness aside, but that doesn’t really parody the franchise either.) :)

This one, first. Then Tangled. After that TPATF, which had the occasional discordant message.

I don't find this film offensive at all but a beautiful tribute that honors Disney's past while setting new course for the future.

I'm not really sure how this is a parody. It's pretty much a Disney classic, but with a more modern take. Cinderella is very "respectful" to the original, let's put it this way, but they got the character a bit wrong, she had more snark and was also more proactive in 1950 than in 2015, where she feels a little generic.
