Er, can I ask what was so smart about Maleficent? Not insulting people who pick her, I'm just curious since to me her plans were the most poorly thought out despite her having the longest to work on them. It takes her 16 yrs to find Aurora, partly because she wasn't smart enough to check that her clearly dim assistants were looking for the right thing, she never thinks of switching to a more effective plan (like just stabbing or hexing Aurora when she has her) even knowing she wouldn't die when pricking her finger thanks to the fairies, she doesn't think to kill or even closely watch the only man who could wake Aurora and she lets the fairies put the whole kingdom to sleep despite fact that the entire point of her plan was to make the king and queen suffer (and they can't suffer if they're alseep). Nothing she did worked out and it was always because she didn't think things through. Er, that got a bit rambly, I was just pointing out the things in her plan I think weren't smart because I don't get her as the smartest. Like I said, I'm not putting down the opinion of people who pick her, I was just wondering why?

Ursula was clever too.

well the reason i picked maleficent was cos she wasn't impulsive like most of the other villains, she generally thought things through. maybe her plans weren't the smartest, but i think that was mainly cos she didn't have enough time in the movie, but the way she thought things through were.

i forgot to add in my other comment, i also think ursula, jafar and shan yu are really smart.
