Unlike Merid, Mei is feminine and manipulative. Unlike Jasmine, she is too romantic and non-judgemental( I don't think Jasmine would like Yao's personality). Unlike Aurora, Mei isn't passive, reserved or ladylike. The rest is out of question to me.
I think Ariel is the best joice.
