Definitely! This is my favorite DP movie, but they never play the classics because they're afraid they won't get that many viewers, ugh.

I NEVER see this on TV. I've seen Snow White, Aladdin, BatB and Mulan on Disney Channel, though.

They've played every one of these movies at least once but now it just feels like they play Tangled and Princess and the Frog more than anything else

I was on vacation earlier this year. We turned on the tv in the hotel room, and Mulan was on, on the Disney channel. Then, right after Mulan finished, The Little Mermaid came on.... It was interesting to see my two favs being shown back to back. Maybe Disney is picking up on how similar Mulan and Ariel really are,lol. Both movies feature girls who are really connected to their families and their friends. :)

I don't understand how TPATF is winning. They've played that multiple times in the past year..

TLM and Tangled are shown the most. I don't think it was that Disney was "picking up" on how much Ariel and Mulan are alike but they just show The Little Mermaid because they know kids won't care about being brainwashed and we'll just like that she's a mermaid. Anyway, I can never find Aladdin on Disney Channel, like ever.

the Disneyjr channel plays more dp movies than disneychannel does. they even played Aladdin a couple weeks ago in memory of Robin Williams. I don't get why they never show it any other times

The modern ones as well as TLM, BaTB and Aladdin get played a lot. I think the classics and the others should get some screen time. Iwasneverhere, I my eyes Ariel and Mulan are nothing alike, especially not in what you mentioned, but hey- that's just me.

^ Sadly, they won't play the classics, because they fear kids aren't interested in them (which a lot of them are not, sadly.) and that they would get low viewers because of it. Instead, they decide to make movies that they know that people love, or were very successful.

This shows the highest viewed programs of 2013, Tangled was on it SEVEN TIMES.

they almost NEVER show the old movies. I know SB is pretty much the opposite of what modern Disney likes, but that's exactly why I wish they'd show it. Show something different for once!
