In my opinion, Mother Gothel is actually a very nice mother to Rapunzel. It's quite shocking to me that suddenly Rapunzel enraged when she finds out that she's a princess... Flynn is too lame for Rapunzel. I mean, she always wins over him at everything!

How could anyone vote for Gothel????

But it's interesting how Gothel made it seem like she loved Rapunzel. Maybe she did love Rapunzel, in some way...

3xZ and to everyone who prefers Rapunzel and Mother Gothel relationship is actually an abuse relationship abuse physically and mentally, Mother Gothel does that to Rapunzel and we can see it at the beginning of the movie, she's always bringing her down and making fun of her and we get to know that the're is also violence by the end of the movie when Gothel is about to touch Rapunzel and Rapunzel stops her form it. This a're just sings of it because Disney is not going to show that of course.
