It deserves an Oscar for the songs and score imo.
Aladdin, Tangled and BATB maybe for the animation style.

All of them though, too bad the category for best animated movie wasn't created until 2001.

Didn't Pocahontas get an oscar for Colors of the Wind??????? But I think all of them deserved some sort of award for something...I just picked sleeping Beauty because I think it's a crime that the movie didn't get the "best score" oscar - and naturally, it would have deserved one for animation.

Or Sleeping Beauty and Pocahontas. BATB and TLM win most of the time. They're overrated now, considering people see them more legendary and memorable than Cinderella or any of the serious CLASSICS. I mean WALT was there, guys.

Best Original Score. I prefer the score in Mulan, but this is definitely an Oscar-quality score, as well as a style that would be an award-winning style.

All of them deserved an Oscar or two. But the way this world works when it comes to movies is it's never the one you want to win.
