Because she has a lot of love too. For heavens sakes, she's probably the most popular princess on Fanpop. It's not like everyone hates her or anything.

oh please, stop playing the victim. Rapunzel is probably more bashed than Ariel in this club. besides, Ariel has a lot of fans. i'm probably the only one who hates her. well, me and Ribon

we are allowed to dislike her as much as you like her and we are allowed to express this -_-

if she JUST got bashing, or 95% bashing, then i could understand this poll, but 90% of people on here love/like her! it's just that the minority that DO dislike her are very vocal about it.

What Ariel bashing?

TBH, I've never really noticed Ariel getting bashed so much. I remember one girl accused me of picking on her. But I never picked on Ariel. I must have been hacked somehow. :'( But I don't support Ariel-bashing at all. None of the princesses deserve to be bashed. Disliking? Okay. But bashing? Not okay.

I love her but she really doesn't get a lot of bashing.

It's really hypocritical to classify the few critical comments towards her as bashing. Every princess gets critical comments -__-

People are so mean to Ariel! And Rapunzel which bothers me too.

She's got her fans. It's good to direct a critical eye towards the things you love, rather than blindly adoring them.

i feel like all the princesses are bashed on equaly i just am tired of ariel-bashing because she is my fav princess

I just think her fans overreacted by all of the people that bash or dislike her. Each princess get her fair amount of bashing.

I'm not tired of people expressing their opinions that they are obviously completely entitled to, but when bashing on a fictional character you are not particulary fond of crosses the line into being downright nasty, mean or entirely mixing fiction with reality - which happened numerous times in this club and NOT only in relation to Ariel, but like pretty_angel92 and jainabieber7 mentioned, in relation to Rapunzel as well and heck, even Snow White (and I'm not even the biggest fan of her!), it something that is by no means a mature or respectful way to handle a civil discussion.

I believe Snow White and Rapunzel get more bashed but I don't really like reading when any of them get bashed.. (besides Merida).

The criticism is well founded.
