While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for comentarios o use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small vista previa of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

Princess Issue: Pocahontas

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as tu can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field día with it. Personally, the más research I did on the situation around this film, the más I was actually fascinated por it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot más nuanced than tu think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Defense and Critique: Tiana

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, tu can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending o critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. Anna's favorito! disney Princess lista

So Anna was a little más interesting to write because as I started escritura Anna's, I thought about how I used Elsa the end of the movie as a basis for making her princess lista so I tried to focus on end of the movie Anna. However, I realized that, although I felt like Anna had changed-- she actually hadn't. I became conscious of the fact that the narrative was making Anna go through all the motions and dramatic arcs of someone going through a change, but she was still the same person at the end of the movie. Also, like Snow White, I think Anna would absolutely adore all of the disney Princesses....

This is what I think Merida's princess lista would be if she were fan of disney Princesses. We will never know for certain what Merida's princess lista would be, but we can make general assumptions.
