Thank tu to everyone who participated in Princess of the Month! For November we celebrated Belle, so here's an articulo on why we adore her:
Belle is my favorito! princess, so I could wax eloquent concerning all the things I adore about her. In the interest of space, though, here is one thing I particularly amor about her: her sense of self-worth. I don't feel like this is often talked about, but it's really inspiring to see her embrace her interests even in the face of constant ostracization from the townspeople. Everyone thinks she's weird and whispers behind her back, but despite this she knows it's not her personality that is the problem. Rather, she knows she just needs to find the right people who will accept her for who she is. I amor this sense of self-confidence she has in herself. She doesn't let the bastards grind her down. ~MaidofOrleans
She is an avid reader. Since I also tended to walk down the calle lectura a book in the past that makes her very relatable to me. ~Swanpride
I amor that she's not afraid to stand up for herself o the people she loves, especially her "crazy old" father. Belle's relationship with Maurice is probably my favorito! thing about her; the townspeople mock Maurice because they think he's crazy and instead of being embarrased Belle defends her father from the very start and when he's locked up in Beast's dungeon she offers herself up to take his place even after seeing what the Beast looked like. I could go on and on about how much I amor Belle and Maurice's relationship but I don't want to take up too much el espacio for the articulo :P ~BB2010

I amor how she is very relatable to me. As a bookworm and someone who feels like they can be an outcast at times, she is my most relatable disney Princess in terms of the situation ~LMH5113

9.Pocahontas: The main flaw of this ocher dress is that it is very simple. Well it has to be since she lives in nature, runs all the time and jump into the river. Perhaps Pocahontas doesn’t have huge, amazing gown, but she have nice and comfy dress and she sure had better time in it then some other princesses in their dresses.
8.Ariel: I mean, what were they thinking?! Red hair and rosado, rosa dress. No, no, no! Were those who draw her dress lazy, o was the royal wardrobe empty, I don’t know. However, the dress clashes...

After all the hype, merchandise and racial debate The Princess and the Frog finally made it to the big screen, mermelada packed with a variety of different aspects that where inspired por other media. However not one of my favourite princess films, I can appreciate it was a good attempt and can enjoy certain aspects of its story. Now lets look at the concoction of literature, anterior films and art stirred together in the Gumbo pot to make Disney's latest fairy tale.
