So, I'm going to be ranking about how I feel the animación is in the disney Princess movies, I'll be ranking them worst to best, but I will be SEPERATING the computer animated films from the hand drawn ones. I'm going to start with the computer animated ones first because there's less of them and the real countdown is the hand-drawn ones.

Anyways, as I usually say, this is my opinion, so please respect it and I'll respect yours, because it's likely that we'll disagree.

The Films That Are Computer Animated


3. Brave


I amor the animación in this movie, I think it's very beautiful. Places like the forest and the castillo look fantastic. However, I like the other two computer animated films more. This one has weird shots in it, in my opinion, and it looks dark and tu can't really see it very well (It's not that I can't see well o anything, I just think the colores are darker and I don't like that) and I don't really like the designs of the characters, especially certain characters. Merida's head is SO CIRCULAR and it makes her look weird. I think the animación is great but not as good as the other ones.


2. Tangled


I absolutely amor the animación in this movie. It's so fantastic. My favorito! part of the movie in the animación HAS GOT to be the lantern scene! It's asbsolutely stunning! I amor how Rapunzel's hair looks, it looks great, and I really like the character designs, they all look different, with different designs to them, and they don't look as weird as the characters in Valiente do. Anyways, the animación is absolutely stunning but there is one computer animated film that is better than it.


1. Frozen


This is my least favorito! disney Princess movie but even I have to admit that the animación is absolutely AMAZING! the animación is fantastic through and through! In my opinion, the best animated part would have to be during let it go when Elsa builds the ice castle. That ice castillo looks phenomenal! the characters look great, they're animated perfectly. They each have their own unique look and their expressions look real, exactly like an actual person's. Out of all the animación in the disney Princess films together, this is in my parte superior, arriba 3.

9. Sleeping Beauty


The animación is this movie is extremely weird, they tried to make it look as good as they could make it but I just don't like it. Even the other classic disney Princess cine have better animación and they're older. Honestly, I don't find the animación to be really bad o anything but I don't it's as good as the others. I'm not going to criticize it that much because it's older and of course the newer animación is better.



8. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs


I actually do like this animation, it's very good for the time, and there are scenes like with the magic mirror are very impressive! especially considering that this was made in the 1930's. Anyways, I really do amor the animación in movie, but, the cine ahead of it o all newer. The animación us better in that time and más impressive. I enjoy this animación and think it's quite impressive at times, but it just isn't much compared to the others.



7. Cinderella


Like with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the animación is good for its time and has its impressive moments. Probably the best moment is the part with the ball gown. It's so impressive (especially for the time) and looks quite nice! even compared to some of Disney's newer works. However, the animación can be plain and unimpressive at times. It's not higher because all not others were made in the 1980's o later, so they're más impressive. (In my opinion though)


6. The Little Mermaid


We're in the renaissance now, so the animación is of course better. We're also at the point where I really like the animation. Anyways, sometimes I find this animación better then Aladdin's. I'll probably change my mind por the time I've finished with the article. I think the animación is really great in this movie, the sea looks great, (although I prefer it the non-Disney Princess movie Finding Nemo) the characters look great, and the animation, overall, is just very good. No, it's not one of those cine I would watch just to see the amazing animation, but the animación is still great. I don't really have any complaints, the others are just better.


5. Aladdin


Like I dicho before, my opinion between aladdín and The Little Mermaid's animación is that they both have slightly similar designs and I like them both. The animación in this movie is really good, it's also very impressive. The character designs I'm mixed about though. I think they did a good job designing Aladdin, and a sub-decent job on Jasmine. My problem is the way Jasmine's face is drawn. It looks kind of weird and her nose is (in my opinion) the worst nose of any disney Princess, yes it's kind of a stupid problem but I think the others are better in general anyways.

4. Mulan


I amor this animación and think it's great. I don't know if that's unpopular opinion, but I'm going to bet it is. Anyways, I think the animación is special and unique, it looks great but has a feel to it that can make it feel strange, which I like. It not only looks great overall, but the character designs are great too, although mulan doesn't get too much attention in the beauty department, she gets attention everywhere else, but that's getting a little off topic. Anyways, I really amor this animación and the strange feel to it, but I prefer the others to this.



3. Pocahontas


The animación in this movie is absolutely amazing, especially during 'colors of the wind'. But every part of the animación is great. The character designs are great (though not the best) and in general it's just fantastic. It reminds me of Mulan's animación because it has a special feel to it. It looks different, but in a good way, a very good way actually. The only problem I have is with Pocahontas' nose, I know that's a stupid problem, but I also think the others are better in general anyways. I amor the animación but the others are near flawless.


2. The Princess and the Frog


The animación in this movie is absolutely AMAZING and STUNNING! It looks fantastic, the colores are perfect, the characters look amazing, it's no wonder Tiana and Naveen are considered some of the most attractive disney Princess' and disney Princes' with the animación that this movie has. This movie is one of those cine (in my opinion) that even if hate, the animación is still great to you. I personally amor this movie, but I know that some people don't, but a lot of people still admit they amor the animation. It's great that they returned to 2D for this movie. I really want to see another 2D disney movie in the future. Anyways, I amor the animación but I prefer one movie's animación more.




1. Beauty and the Beast

The animación in this movie is absolutely FLAWLESS! Like with The Princess and the Frog, it's no wonder Belle is considered one of the most beautiful disney Princesses, because just LOOK at the animation! The animación just looks so amazing, it's just.. Just, great. In my opinion, it has the best animación of ANY disney movie! In case you're wondering what my lista is, I'll have it at the bottom of the article. Oh wait, it looks like we're already at the end. Oh well.
