Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Hello, and welcome to my segundo article! I am ApplesauceDoctr, and today I shall discuss the redesigns of the disney Princesses made earlier this year. There have been some major changes, including new hairstyles, new dresses, and of course, a ton of sparkles. How do their new designs stack up to their original DP designs? Let's find out!

I won't be evaluating these por how accurate the redesigns look to the actual character to the movie; this will evaluate how the redesign looks in comparison to the anterior DP design. If that doesn't make sense, let's just begin and you'll get the hang of it. ;D

Merida won't be included in this countdown because although she lacks much resemblance to her original character, she is a new addition and we have yet to see her DP character redesigned.

10. Cinderella
Cinderella's redesign was probably the most altered of all the princesses. Her hairstyle has changed - instead of that strange updo she had originally, it looks like a más realistic bun and she has one loose strand of hair. Her dress has gone from a pale blue/light blue to a very BRIGHT shade of blue. It is accompanied por embroidery patterns on the bottom, new sleeves, and, of course, many sparkles. Sparkles can also be found on her hairband.
This "new" Cinderella, while pretty, doesn't have much resemblance to the anterior diseño for cenicienta o even to the original character in the movie. The change of hairstyle and dress makes her quite different. In addition, her face looks a little different, particularly the eyes.

9. Mulan
mulan also underwent some drastic changes. Her face looks really different - it just doesn't look like mulan anymore. Her hairstyle has seemed to have gotten longer with a few loose strands of hair.
A lot has changed about her dress - there are MANY new embroidery patterns all over, and once again, many sparkles. The green sleeves have gotten longer, and the red ribbon-like accessory extends to the bottom of the dress.
This hardly looks like mulan (from the movie) o even her anterior design. So much has changed about her, from her hairstyle and face to her signature dress.

8. Pocahontas
Deary me, Pocahontas has gotten several new accessories that she doesn't look quite the same. The reason she isn't any lower is because tu can still recognize her, even with these accessories. Speaking of which, let's talk about them.
I think the most obvious modification was the addition of calzado - boots, to be exact. Why Pocahontas would need boots as she's running around the forest, I haven't a clue. That's not all, though. Her dress has gotten longer and the color has slightly changed from a golden/beige color to a light beige. She now wears feathery earings and beads, and her signature blue collar is now a golden collar with blue jewels on it.
Her face also looks different - she doesn't look very happy with all of the accessories she has on. And dado the fact that she looks quite different from her anterior design, I can't blame her.

7. Ariel
Oh my goodness, what happened to her dress?! That's a great question.
Ariel didn't wear a green dress in her movie; she was seen in a blue dress and a rosado, rosa ballgown, but never a green one. Her dress was probably changed so that she could have más resemblance to her mermaid form - she had a green mermaid tail, and this dress now recognizes that. Still, it isn't an accurate change. And she even has green shoes on. Ariel's hair is also different. It wasn't nearly as curly and wavy as it is now.
Thankfully, not much else has changed. Although Ariel is wearing a new dress and has a different hairstyle, she still looks like herself, which is why she isn't any lower on this list.

6. Jasmine
It's obvious disney realized that jazmín isn't exactly one to wear dresses. So what do they do? Make her pants look as close to a dress as possible, of course!
Jasmine's tube parte superior, arriba and pants have gone from a pale blue/green to a bright blue/green. Most notably, though, her pants have been accompanied with a long skirt-like accessory to cover up the fact that she wears pants, and her parte superior, arriba now has some similar sleeves.
Her hair is different. It doesn't quite have the same volume - it just looks weaker. Notice that the tip of her ponytail isn't a curl anymore; it just kind of ends. Like Cinderella, she has a loose strand of hair.
tu know what I think is even worse than makig her pants look like a dress? Making jazmín look so much younger! Her face just doesn't look the same and makes her look far younger than she did before. And that, my friends, is possibly the worst thing disney could do.

5. Belle
Much like Ariel, Belle's hair has gotten much más curly and wavy. It looks kind of nice, but it is different from her original hairstyle. It appears as though Belle is wearing some makeup, too.
But the most obvious change is her dress - at first it was pretty yellow, but now it looks más golden. The lower part of the dress now has some embroidery in the shape of rosas (which makes sense) and sparkles.
While Belle has gone under some changes, she still looks (somewhat) like herself.

4. Aurora
While I don't think Aurora's anterior diseño even looked like her character from the movie, her redesign doesn't look too different from that anterior design. Her hair seems a little glossier and yellow. Her dress has a bit of a different shade of pink, but to be quite honest, this new rosado, rosa matches the rosado, rosa dress she wears in the movie better than that anterior rosado, rosa did. And of course, there are más sparkles.

3. Snow White
Snow White...where do I begin? Well, like Aurora, her hair seems glossier and her hairband seems to have gone from red to sparkly pink. Also sparkly is her dress, which is a treasure trove of sparkles.
The torso of the dress is a brighter blue with some embroidery, and the red...thingies on the sleeves have also become rosado, rosa (to match the hairband). Snow White's falda is a far brighter yellow and, once again, has embroidery and sparkles.
I think the problem here was Snow White getting an excessive makeover of sparkles, brighter colors, and patterns. But still, she looks like herself, even with all of this excessive-ness.

2. Rapunzel
Rapunzel, being the most modern princess to have a redesign, looks almost the same. However, there are a few changes. I believe that her dress is a slightly different shade of purple than it was before, and if tu couldn't notice the sparkles, then tu should notice them now. The only other change was adding some embroidery to the bottom of the skirt, but besides these, Rapunzel looks almost the same.

1. Tiana
I would hardly say that Tiana's redesign looks inaccurate - the most notable change was the addition of sparkles, but it fits her really well! If I remember correctly, in the film, her green dress had plenty of sparkles, so this is not a bad change.
Tiana's dress and hairstyle practically remained untouched, and that my friends brings her to the parte superior, arriba of this list.

Merida
While I can't judge Merida's diseño (this is only her first one), she was not included in this countdown. But that doesn't mean we can't talk about her!
She looks much más feminine than the título character from the movie, but even so Merida seems to fit into the lineup just fine.

From these redesigns, the addition of embroidery and sparkles are most commonly seen for all of the princesses. Some princesses have dress changes, others have new hairstyles, and still others just look like they had some plastic surgery. Are these bad changes? Not always, but they don't necessarily resemble their characters anymore. Oh well. Should disney choose to redesign these princesses again (perhaps if Anna and Elsa join?) we'll be able to perform this countdown again. :D

Well, I thank tu for lectura my segundo article! Do tu agree with any of these placements? Are there any changes tu would make to the list? How do tu think these princesses have changed? If tu have any comments, please feel free to respond below!
 The Princesses Before
The Princesses Before
disney sequels. The base-breakers of the disney fandom. Some amor them, some hate them. Some think they bring new perspectives to beloved characters, while others think they ruthlessly destroy and twist every aspect of the original movie. Well, one thing must be admitted: they were made with the intent to leche más money for the franchise. But does that make all of them necessarily bad? No, but it does not make for a good start, really.

I think "The encantada Christmas" is proof of this. Having seen it yesterday, I can attest it has a lot of "pros" and "cons", which makes for a mixed bag. So...

In honor of Mothers’ Day, I decided to do an articulo ranking my favorito! disney Princess mothers… I know it’s a bit late, but I wanted to make sure I had it worded perfectly! I didn’t include Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, and Mother Gothel because they are not the biological mothers of the princesses… and I thought it would be fairly obvious where they’d rank. Some of my opinions are going to be quite unpopular, but I hope we can agree to politely disagree.

7. queen Elinor

I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I really dislike Elinor. While I do believe she loves...

Before tu read the lyrics, tu should know that I'm doing this from the male perspective because I myself am a guy. Also, originally I had lyrics from Demi Lovato's version but I decided to editar those out and some parts that are a little wordy. Help with the wordy lyrics was done por kristenfan10109. I hope tu enjoy it!

The moon glows bright on the ocean tonight
Not a footprint in the sand
A whole world of isolation,
And it looks like I'm the king.

The waves are calm unlike this emotional storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried!

Don't let them in, don't let them see

Yesterday I wrote an articulo about my favorito! song from each DP Movie, today I'm doing an articulo about my favorito! song scene from each DP Movie, the only requirement for this was that the song in the scene has to mainly be sung por a character from the movie (this rule doesn't apply to Brave), also the song scene can of course have two songs in the scene

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - With A Smile And A Song

This movie has many great song scenes, it was actually a bit hard to pick a favorite, but this one is currently my favorite, first of all it has one my favorito! songs from the...

It's been a while since I last wrote this lista so I decided to write it again, it's been changing a slight bit since the last time, anyway hope you'll like this article

13. Aurora

I really amor Aurora and I do think she's brave, just not as much as the other princesses above. Her bravest moment is when she chooses to leave the cottage with the hadas instead of staying there and waiting for Phillip

12. Jasmine

I placed jazmín higher than Aurora because jazmín is outspoken which makes her a slight bit más brave, but like Aurora she doesn't actually have a lot of Valiente moments. Her...

As the girls continued to walk home, mulan began to feel some minor pain in her abdomen. She thought it was just a cramp from all that climbing she did. "Are tu alright, Mulan?" Pocahontas asked. "Yeah. Just a cramp." mulan answered. "I hope it's nothin' serious." Merida replied. "It's not. The baby might be growing." mulan replied. Pocahontas and Merida just smiled at her thought.

However, the pain only progressed the siguiente morning. mulan held her stomach lightly as she got out of bed. To make matters worse, Shang noticed. He rushed out of cama to be at his love's side. "Are tu OK?" he asked....

I can relate to these words on some levels.
I can relate to these words on some levels.
As queen Elsa is exposed to the dangers of her magic, her magic begins to grow into an uncontrollable force that she fears will bring ruin to everything she touches. This vivid imagery not only presents the audience with an interesting story development,it actually exemplifies and alludes to what an individual feels when experiencing anxiety and depression. If we take Elsa's magic to be a physical representation of anxiety and depression her journey to learn to control her powers reflects well the journey many people undergo when they experience anxiety o depression.
Elsa is the direct cause...

The physical attributes of Ariel, as a human and mermaid.

One thing I've noticed about Ariel, is that she gets a lot of praise and detest for her hair. The big clump of red, flowing hair is absolutely beautiful to me; but everyone calls it unrealistic.

This is the point where I think CGI animación would really help out TLM. If she had been drawn/done in that animation, her hair color would of been más exaggerated. They would of taken time to add in different shades of red, and oranges. Her hair...
