Yeah, another interlude, but oso, oso de with me. There are often discussions about why some princesses/heroines are included in the line-up and others not. To me, the selection makes mostly sense, although I’m sure that disney decides mostly based on the success of the movie and marketing strategy. But there actually is a set of rule which includes the current princesses and excludes most of the other ones.

1. The Movie has to be based on a Legend o a Fairy Tale, not on a book o an original story (which excludes nearly all the other aspirants). The sometimes inclusion of Alice makes no sense at all, but since that’s only a thing of Kingdom Hearts, I can overlook this.

At date, there are 14 cine which are based on either a fairy-tale o some kind of legend: The ten which already are part of the line up, and “The Sword in the Stone”, “Robin Hood”, “Hercules” and “Atlantis: The lost Empire”. It should be obvious why “The Sword in the Stone” and “Robin Hood” are not part of the line up: The former has no leading lady at all, the latter leading lady is a fox. Which brings us to the segundo rule:

2. The heroine has to be human.

A case can be made for Megara and Kida. And I wouldn’t mind having them in the line-up. But, box-office success aside, there are other reasons not to include them. And I don’t mean the fact that Megara is not necessarily a princess and Kida is queen at the end of the movie. I don’t think that the título should make a difference. But Megara is not the heroine of her movie, that’s Hercules, and she is originally one of the villains. A very likable villain which eventually changes into a heroine, but a villain nevertheless. And Kida doesn’t even turn up until her movie is half over (and spends the segundo half mostly as glowing orb). jazmín isn’t the leading lady of her movie either, but her role is nearly as big as Aladdin’s, so it makes sense to include her.

All the other “honorable princesses” (Jane, Esmeralda, aso) are great heroines, but to me their inclusion into the line-up wouldn’t make sense. I considered to include a review of “Hercules” in this series of articles, because the movie is using the typical disney fairy tale formula and would fit in quite nicely between the others, but I decided against it, mostly because of the numerous cultura pop references in it. It simply doesn’t have the same timeless feel to it the official disney Princess cine have.

 Tale as Old as Time
Tale as Old as Time
Hi guys, I know that I only a comparison of both the 1991 animated classic with its 2017 live-action reboot. So now, I'm going to write 3 versions of it which includes the Broadway Musical.

The 1991 Version

Since we all grew up with the animated feature, I feel that the story actually makes fall in amor as it teaches about our inner strength. When I first saw this version many years ago, I was not terrified of the beast at all surprisingly and my favourite character at that time was Lumiere because he is a very interesting character and I would imitate him, especially candle arms.
The songs...

Hi everyone!

Part One of Why We amor Each disney Princess included the DPs of the Classic Era - Part Two will include the Renaissance DPs. Hope tu like the article!

Why We amor Ariel:

wavesurf:
I amor Ariel because...she reminds me of myself. Ariel's quirks-- being impulsive, collecting items, wanting more, wanting a different life from the one she has--- all remind me of myself. My parents have been strict. With my strict upbringing, I wasn't allowed to make very many personal decisions. My parents usually told me what to wear, how to think, what to say, how to act, etc.,etc. Sometimes,...

The one that started it all!
The one that started it all!
Finally, after my European coverage made it to the front page of Fanpop. Here are the delegates from the Americas and my final opinion on my favourite Let It Go rendition!

English (Voice Actress: Idina Menzel)

The original version that started it all! I started to know Idina in Disney's encantada and from what I've heard is that there was a 'deleted' song written especially for her in that movie, I was really disappointed that it did not make it to the final cut.
Then, my younger brother got the original Broadway cast of Wicked and I was blown away por Idina's rendition of Defying Gravity and...

"I hope those letters get there on time." Pocahontas dicho as she was gathering food. "You're getting too anxious. Those things take their time getting delivered." Nakoma replied. Pocahontas had a look of doubt on her face. "Nakoma, I have to ask tu something. Do tu feel I should make tu Mace's godmother?" Pocahontas confessed. Nakoma's jaw dropped slightly. "Pocahontas, that's all up to you. If tu want to make Merida Mace's godmother, I understand." Nakoma answered. "Are tu sure? I mean, we've known each other all of lives and, I've only known Merida for afew years." Pocahontas wondered....

I would change my name to Belle
I amor France and the language it's so beautiful. Anything french, I love. Also it would be nice to have a name that literally means beauty. (Though I'm far from beautiful) Either her name o Ariel, because I heard it means leona o air spirit. I'm fairly sure it was used in one of Shakespeare's plays too.

I want Mulan's selflessness and intelligence
She gave up her life (basically) to save her father. She has amazing wit. She a quick thinker even if at a risk. She is also sort of a anventurerer whilst still being very noble and polite. She...

Another día passed por and the siguiente día Rose Red felt much better, 100 percently recoverd that was for sure, she was ready to meet the wizard now and get that wand so that her mother would be free from her spell and so that Rose Red could marry Harold as soon as he was recoverd.

This would be the last night before they would reach the wizard and that night was wonderful, Rose Red not only felt perfect, but for the first time she could sleep without having any nightmares o thoughts of Harold and without feeling pale. She did felt the pain in the arm which still was quite horrible, but now it...
