Well... in Cars 2, they didnt put Doc in because Paul Newman (the voice actor for Doc) died, and in Cars 2, Doc died, so no, they wont put Doc if they do make a Cars 3.

By the way Mater and Lightning ruminated at the beginning of Cars 2, they made it seem like Doc died or something. Hmm...can cars die of old age? Hmm...
