Although, I like jasmine's dad and Belle's dad they don't really make the BEST parents.

Triton was horrible when I was a little kid he scared me I started to like him when he turned Ariel human and gave her that dress it's the most beautiful dress of all but that's the only thing he did he was a horrible father Belle and her father never fight

I love this guy.

Maurice is made of awesome. Especially in the musical (which only makes what happens later all the more heartbreaking, really). Triton -- I have a bit of a soft spot for the guy. He can be an asshole at times (I remember squirming uncomfortably when he tells Ariel off for not showing up at the concert, as well as getting angry at him after he destroyed Ariel's collection, *and* when he rebuked her for, of all things, *saving Eric from a watery death*. Seriously, dude, what the fuck?!), but he means well. After all, he was basically willing to sell his soul to Ursula in order to save his daughter -- how awesome *is* that? In terms of characters, Triton is really well-done. :)

I love Mulan's parents as well. Especially her dad -- he just seems so caring and *nice*. Especially when he comforts Mulan after everything goes south at the matchmaker's. He's definitely a dad worth fighting for, I say.

Powhatan -- I have a soft spot for the guy as well (in fact, scarily enough, he reminds me of my *own* dad. 0.0 Although my dad has a dash of Triton in him as well, because he's a nice guy, but...lightening up isn't his strong suit. And a bit of the Sultan/Maurice in him when he does). There were times in the movie he frustrated me, but overall, he was definitely a good dad to Pocahontas, and a good leader as well. Seriously, like Triton, when you get down to it, he's a nice guy. In fact, I think the only time he ever really comes close to losing it is after Kocoum's killed and he learns that his daughter's been sneaking out to see John Smith (which is understandable, considering the circumstances). Simba and Nala -- eh, they're okay, I guess, but I know I wanted to smack Simba a few times in the sequel. Still, I think Simba's actions were understandable, considering the circumstances (especially when he thought Kovu had betrayed him). Aurora's parents are also pretty cool, really. :) As is Nala's mom. Sadly haven't seen Tarzan in a while, but I like Professor Porter. He reminds me a lot of Maurice, really. :)

What about Simba? What do you think of Mufasa and Serabi? Remember if there was no Simba there'd be no Kiara!!! We hardly see Nala's parents anyway just her mother giving her a bath.

How would we know Nala has good parents? We see her mom for ten seconds and all we see her do is talk to Sarabi.
