"There. tu are done." Chel says as she puts her finishing touches on Kida's face with makeup. Kida stands up and looks into the mirror. She gasps. Her beautiful blue dress complimented her personality. Kida had never looked más beautiful in her life.

Proteus looks around the ballroom but doesn't sight Kida anywhere. "Proteus!" The prince turns around only to see his fiancee, Marina. "M-Marina! I've been looking for tu everywhere!" he lies to her. "I was dancing with my brother." puerto pequeño, marina says as she raises her eyebrow. "May I speak with tu privately please?" Proteus asks his soon-to-be-wife. "Of course my dear."

The prince and the ambassador arrive outside where they can talk privately. puerto pequeño, marina sits down on a bench but Proteus doesn't. He stays standing. "Marina, I've been thinking for a while now and..." Proteus pauses for a moment. He sighs. "I...I think we shouldn't get married." puerto pequeño, marina widens her eyes. "Wha-why would tu do such a thing?!" Proteus does not answer her question. "It-It's someone else isn't it?!" puerto pequeño, marina chokes on her own words. The prince, still silent, sighs. puerto pequeño, marina stands up and pushes Proteus out of her way. "I LOVED YOU! OUR MARRIAGE WAS GOING TO BE IN A MONTH!!!" puerto pequeño, marina screams at the parte superior, arriba of her lungs as her eyes fill with water. Breaking up with his fiancee was the hardest thing Proteus could do in his life.

Kida had arrived ten minutos before Proteus broke up with puerto pequeño, marina and she was trying to pour some sweet water into her cup with a ladle. "Good evening." Someone says behind her. "Oh it's just you." She says recognizing the voice. It was Proteus. He holds onto Kida's hand as she holds onto the ladle. He pours the liquid into the glass cup. "Thank you." Kida says. She takes a sip of the water. Proteus grins. "Come with me." he says to Kida.

Proteus takes Kida into a room where they can be alone. "What is it Proteus?" she asks. "You look...beautiful." He says and sets his hand on her cheek. "Just like a princess." Proteus jokes as he holds both of Kida's hands. "You look handsome as well." Kida says kindly. They smile at each other as Proteus puts his hands around Kida's waist and Kida wraps her arms around his neck. The two share a kiss.
