Demi Lovato told People:'I just bought a house [Mediterranean style outside of LA].For me to give [that]to my family on my birthday, that was the best present. It's got pretty much everything tu could possibly imagine in it.
It's the most beautiful, homey-feeling house.I amor it.The pool has a water slide, which is really cool.'Demi told MTV:'I'm turning 18, yeah
I would amor to.. I don't know!I would amor to just have fun with my friends.I don't get to see my friends a lot, so a lot of my friends are coming out[to visit].My family flew out.I'm just having a good time with them.I have everything I could possibly want.Everyone's asking me,'What do tu want for tu birthday?'
I'm like,'I don't know!Handbags?'Like,I have everything I could want.I'm just thankful.'

Demi Lovato just announced two shows this fall that have us a little más ready to let go of summer. Demi tweeted the announcement today.
“MY FIRST TWO CONCERTS!!! I’ll be performing at The Hammerstein Ballroom on 9/17 and at Club Nokia on 9/23! Can’t wait to see tu there!!!!:D”
The shows will probably be some of Demi’s earliest performances of her Unbroken tracks. The album drops Sept. 20.
Are tu going to see Demi live?
Demi looks beautiful in this new shot from the September 2011 issue of ELLE.
Demi also opened up and had a heart-to-heart conversation with the mag, citing what really caused her to break last summer. “I was completely out of line all summer. Just the worst attitude—totally ungrateful.” Demi shared.
“When tu puñetazo, ponche someone [backup dancer Alex Welch on a flight] on a plane, enough is enough. Right after, I texted my mom and just said, ‘I’m sorry.’”
Demi added about the break up between her and tour mate Joe Jonas, “I wouldn’t credit my meltdown to a guy. There was so much other stuff in my life.”
At least Demi has learned from her mistakes.
