macro means to look at the bigger picture or in other words what would be better for society as a whole
micro would means to look closer at individuals and make the problems more person
incase you still don't fully follow i will use the debate question which seemed to be quite a hot topic as of late
"should organ donation be mandatory?"
someone who thinks it should be mandatory who choses to look at it from a macro perspective might say
"63 thousand children die every year because parents won't let their kids donate their organs" (by the way that figure is completly made up on my account)
someone who also think it should be mandatory who choses to look at it from a micro perspective might say
"if one single man can be saved by someone else death you may also be saving not just one man but a father, a brother, a son and husband, why should he and those people suffer because another person was too selfish to fill out a form"
they're not great examples a bit of research on google could probably explain it better but hopefully you get what i mean
although i have to ask, what about your most favorite issue, gay rights/marriage?
However, sometimes one tiny, individual scenario can make something unjust.
I think I end up leaning towards the 'macro' side of the spectrum though.
