I'll admit, even though i'm more of a Bamon fan, Delena is starting to grow on me this season. :) Who knows, I might end up shipping both in the show soon :)

I'll be honest and say that i'm still not very fond of book Delena, but after watching Damon's confession to Elena in her bedroom really warmed my heart and i'm starting to lean towards them in the show. Even though I still love Bamon.

I am Bamon fan also but I like Delena too, I like more Delena in the tv shows than in the books maybe because I like more Elena in the show that in the books, and wow it is good to know that I am not the only Bamon fan that likes Delena also...

Used to love both...except now that i know DE is going to be ruined in the books because Damon's also going to be interested in Bonnie, I don't even care about them in the books anymore. It makes Damon's love look cheap and destroyed DE for me. Btw you're always welcome here if you're respectful =)

Well I'm finishing the first book and I've read two DE scenes so I don't know if I ship them yet.

I don't think I can answer this one. I fell in love with DE in the books first. I read the first 3 books long before the show came on. Those are youthful memories there! No one can take those from me ♥ I was hopelessly in love with them for years. I reread those books and their scenes so many times it's a bit shameful :P

That said, I feel the two versions are completely different entities. BOTH Damon and Elena are so different on the show from their book counter parts I can't compare them and their relationship. It's like comparing one of my favorite relationships from one TV show with another. I can't do it LOL. For me, this place has become of bit of an appreciation place for TWO of my favorite ships xD

I really adore the TV show version of their story on it's own without any backing from the books. They have something different but something equally as powerful for me. I watch their scenes, and all the little things just get me swooning like crazy. The time and effort by the writers to put little throw backs and parallels, combined with the unspoken emotions in their scenes... just... *swoons*

Both are special to me but for different reasons.

At the end of the day, they both left an impact on me though :)

I never read the books and to be honest i never will I cant stand the thought that damon will have just as deep feelings for elena and any other girl. It doesnt even matter if the gir wasnt bonnie. I HATE to think Damon would love 2 girls. The show Damon is feircly loyal and thats one reason i love DE. Book damon seems so shallow. also saying elena was something to chase after while bonnie was the one he liked before TVD. LJ just killed any enjoyment i couldve had with the originl books. It feels like any love they have is just a lie.

I like them in the books,but it seems LJ Smith is going to fuck them up after how much they were in love in Shadow Souls,so I'm going to go with Show!Delena. At least KW/JP haven't fucked them up.

They have some mutual and hot kissing scenes in the books<3333 so until that stars happening on the show, I'm going with the books!

I've never read the books. If it was purely about DE then I would definitely consider it, but it seems that LJ Smith is gearing up for serious Bamon action, so...no thank you. It's Show Delena all the way for me.

AGH, no answer from me, I can't handle it. I first fell in love with the show DE, then, after reading the book, I completely fell head over heals for book DE,

I loved them after reading the books but the books IMO are getting quite ridiculous....
so I prefer the show DE! It's just so beautiful....it's one thing reading about their love, it's a whole different thing actually seeing it on the screen!!!

I agree with JesseIsLoveMD LOL :D More Delena kisses in the books... besides I read the books before the show but, Delena in the show is amazing! I cried when Damon compelled Elena to forget his love fo her!! Awwwww that was so beautiful! Ahhh book and show doesn't matter- Delena forever!
