My TL of the show:

S3: Single Elena in the finale
S4: Elena tries to separate herself from the brothers. While this works with Stefan, it doesn't for Damon. They have sex in the finale.
S5: Damon and Elena are secretly fucking/college years
S6: The 'last resort' for SE. They try to make it work but she doesn't feel the same way anymore, and it all crumbles.

maybe this^^ but i thought Elena was gunna pick either one brother or the othet anyway... maybe she and Damon will kiss and she'll be open about her feelings for them both(not just stefan)... but stay single until s4 ;)

I think she will choose Damon in the season finale. Or at least I hope.

I don't think she is ready to make a choice between the brothers yet. She's too confused.

This seems like the best option. I don't think Elena will choose between them yet. I rather it be this way because I think if she chose Damon now, it would end early.

I really think it will be so. Everyone's obbsessed about her choice and at the end we will all be dissapointed and kinda happy. For me,it's great and truly ok.
