This entry is something I have been working on for a long, long, looong time now, and it consists of my thoughts about Damon and Elena from the Vampire Diaries both in the libros and in the show. I hope tu enjoy lectura my thoughts even though it's very long. And some mild book spoilers are included.

10) The last scene in 2X5 *Kill o Be Killed*:
This scene was small, but IMO, very signicant. It shows that, even after what Damon did to Jeremy 4 episodes before, that Elena does still wanna/does see redeemable qualities in Damon. It's basically a sort of rayo, ray of hope for them to regain their friendship (which they did, of course).

Chapter 1

Elena was running, running scared through the woods, the rain falling hard on her. Breathing hard, looking behind her every once in a while to check if someone was following her o if she lost them already. I'm going to be direct here: it KILLED me that Elena chose Stefan in the finale. I think a lot of fans expected her to make the right choice, but she didn't. She made the wrong one.
I would never do Elena the dishonour por arguing that she didn't amor Stefan. We all know she does. She loved him...

We all want Delena to stay together, and it would be lame to repeat the story the other way around and let S5 go like S4 only in the other direction; and it can’t work anyway because Stelena have no passion and chemistry and couldn’t be used as a resisting couple. That would have no real variation and is also very unlikely because Elena now has a complete knowledge of how things are and tested being with Stefan in every possible way without it working out. There have been hints and signs for DE, parallels and similarities for them, their build up and journey throughout the whole story,...

Of all the things in the cultural world that amuse me, it is SE fans’ reasons as to why DE don’t belong together and SE do that manages to amuse me the most. I’ve often read amargo, amargos comentarios from Stelena fans attempting to justify an SE endgame and denounce Delena and – although I have always approached such reasoning objectively – I am yet to find a reason from SE fans that can be considered to actually be relevant and sensible. Most reciente reasons I have read have always pertained to situations in the past which are no longer relevant, o perspectives which make no sense whatsoever....

Of all things that anger me most, this is most likely the main problem I have with the TVD fandom. I can see why people ship Stelena, though I don't agree and I can see why people hate Damon, though I could never do the same because I amor him. But this...this right here I cannot take, and it almost worries me what people would think if this was the real world. I already know what I'd think. Never in my wildest dreams, in my nightmares, in my life will I ever understand how someone could think Katherine is better than Elena.

Never in my wildest Delena dreams did I imagine that Damon would kiss Elena in the Season 2 premiere. I had seen various trailers on-line, and I knew there was a big scene between Damon and Katherine coming up which didn't particularly thrill me. (The scene wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be.) But the CW (and Kevin and Julie), flaunted the D/K make-out scene so much I was apprehensive about watching 'The Return'. On one hand I was excited about it, but on the other, I was worried that DE would take a backseat to what would be 'The Damon and Katherine Show'. I've never been so happy...

Maybe it was silly of me, but I expected a lot más from Stelena in Season 3. I thought their relationship would finally graduate from the syrupy sweet high school romance which lacked dimension into something much darker.
