Critical Analysis of Twilight Respuestas

I think this link respuestas your question.

más specifically, personally I both like and hate it. Like because it's a fluffy fun read, hate because it's badly written, it's character are flat and not the kind of people I want for friends, and it ruined the image of vampiros as badasses.

My feelings for it are like a song tu hate, but can't stop listning to. Kinda.

twilight is alright...for what it is, which is a tween-age series of books.

there are a number of reasons that I feel this way:
the characters are flat and lifeless, composed of nothing but stereotypes.
the vampire concept presented is, frankly, poorly executed and unoriginal.
the idea of immortality is praised and desperately envied instead of harsh and soul-crushing.
So...yeah. That's what I think, anyway.

No, I don't. I read two first volumes out of curiosity, because I read a few negative reviews and couldn't believe something so popular is so bad. It wasn't as bad as described in those reviews. It was WORSE.

The book is poorly written, full of cliche fraseologisms and epithets (but this may be the fault of Polish translation) and there's also the thing I hate the most in the world: singular sentences. There are very little sentences which have más than one verb, meaning every action of the characters is another sentence. For me, nothing worse can happen to a book (when it comes to escritura style). I won't mention all about characters being flat and stupid, story altogether boring and destroying image of vampire as monster o at least a badass character, because in this matter there was already dicho enough.
And one thing I noticed: when Edward told Bella he drinks animal blood, doesn't want to hurt her and stuff... my first thought would be: IT'S A TRAP! Don't tu think so as well?...

No it's not. I've read the Polish and English version. They're equally bad.

I commend tu on your effort in lectura 2 whole volumes of that series. I couldn't even get past page 3 of the first book, and I attempted 3 times.

I actually amor Twilight mostly (but wouldn't call myself a Twi-Hard).

I don't like how Bella is putting her amor for her family last, & putting herself, & her amor for a guy first (basically a selfish move).

I also don't like how Edward acts in Eclipse (especially the book). He is highly overprotective & possessive. Bella, who is willing to stand up for herself to other people, acts like a fragile knick knack when around Edward. I amor them as a couple, but some of the stuff in the libros really bugs me. I hope the part about Edward being willing to allow Bella to sleep with Jacob just to have a baby, & have the experience in favor of aborting Nessie doesn't make it onto the film. It was the most vile thing I've read when it comes to all of the Twilight books.

I also think that cool characters such as Alice, Jasper, & Emmett r highly underrated. I wish they had más screentime, & scenes in the libros too.

No, I actually hate it. But what I find to be strange is that I hate Twilight, New Moon, and Breaking Dawn but I amor Eclipse (both the book and the movie). I used to be a rabid Twilight fangirl but after I read Breaking Dawn and was enlightened por the internet, I started to hate it. However, I still amor Eclipse and many of the characters (even finding an interest in characters I didn't like before). Bottom line: I hate Twilight because I think Edward is a controlling creep-ass, Bella's a helpless whiner-baby, BD ruined the whole series and is the reason why I don't 100% amor Jacob (I do amor him though), Renesmee is a Mary-Sue demon spawn, and the fangirls are freaking psychotic!

I have mixed feelings for the series. Reasons for not liking it are that no matter what anybody says, Edward is abusive and controlling, Bella is tease and a depressing. whiny Mary Sue, and most of the other characters are pretty much flat. It's horribly written, with Breaking Dawn being the most disastrous book I have ever read. The major thing about this was that the amor in the amor story was missing (attracted por someone physically is not amor it's lust, and attracted por their smell is just...wrong) The fan fiction I have read on ff.net is ten times better than Meyer's version, I dare say.

On the other hand, I do like it. The only book I really enjoyed was Eclipse, and I do like the secondary characters, preferably Rosalie, Leah, Jasper, Carisle, Charlie, and all of Bella's human friends who she did not deserve (Angela being my favorite). If Meyer does continue with the saga, after she has hopefully learned her lesson with BD, then I hope to see más of these characters for in future installments, but with no más Bella o Edward please.
