After getting inicial from the bureau, Derek decided to take his dog, Clooney, out for a halloween stroll. What made him want to do that? For some reason, Mrs.Morgan had sent Clooney a halloween costume. "I saw this in the party store and I knew Clooney would look adorable in this!" dicho a note that came with the costume. Derek felt tickled por this quirky idea and decided to give it a shot. The costume was a Harry Potter one for dogs! Derek took his time suiting up Clooney for the event.
"There tu go, Clooney." he encouraged. Clooney was getting on up there, but he still felt good. Derek soon leashed up his 4-legged friend and they were out the door. Clooney LOVED going on the walk. There were many trick-or-treaters who wanted to stop and pet him. "Can I pet him?" one little boy dressed up as Captain America asked Derek. "Go ahead!" Derek beamed. The little boy gave Clooney a quick pet before continuing his trick-or-treating.
"Can I pet your dog?" one girl dressed up as Merida from the movie Valiente asked. "You may!" Derek answered smiling. The girl lovingly scratched his head as well. "Go easy on the princess." Derek whispered. The girl then continued on with HER trick-or-treating. "Look mom, a dog!" another boy dressed up as Donatello the Teenage Mutant Ninja tortuga pointed out as he saw Clooney. "May I pet your dog?" the boy asked. "Sure!" Derek answered with a smile. The little boy also gave Clooney a belly rub! He continued trick-or-treating after he was done.
Derek had to be careful with the timing because he knew Clooney would tire-out easily. Ironically, Clooney was patient with every single trick-or-treater! Derek still kept his eye on him though, just in case he tried to bite. After afew hours, he took the dog home. As soon as Clooney was undressed, he went straight to his cama and fell asleep. Derek smiled at the worn-out dog. He soon headed to cama himself with another busy día at the BAU ahead of him.
The siguiente morning, Derek and the team were talking about the anterior night. "Henry had a blast!" JJ remarked. "Jack went trick-or-treating at almost every house in the neighborhood. Me and Beth thought we were gonna have to go back and get the car!" Hotch replied. Derek hid a small chuckle. "I took my dog out for a bit of the action!" he stated happily. "What made tu wanna change your mind?" Rossi asked jokingly. "The costume for Clooney." Derek answered still smiling.
"Who did your dog go as?" Blake asked. "I'll give tu a hint-he went as today's most famous wizard." Derek hinted. "You dressed YOUR DOG up as Harry Potter?" Hotch asked trying not to laugh as he figured out the riddle. "I did!" Derek answered laughing. "Did the costume even fit Clooney?" Spencer asked. "It did, surprisingly." Derek answered. "The glasses started bothering him though." he continued.
"Is there a picture?" Penelope asked. Derek got his phone out and showed off the picture. "Aww! That is the CUTEST thing ever!" Penelope beamed. The team felt kinda lucky because they weren't presented with a case. In fact, it was so quite and calm at the BAU that day, everyone left early! As Derek got home, Clooney ran right up to him. "YOU were probably the most popular trick-or-treater last night." he remarked happily as he scratched Clooney's ears.
