I didnt know they were re-making it for the ps3!

i have not got a ps3 :(

They aren't actually making a remake :( Sadly.
Square-Enix just made that video as a technical demo of what they are capable of doing with PS3.

But who knows, maybe someday we'll be playing a Re: FFVII -game!

We can only hope.

They better, because I want to try it out.

The creators have stated that with the releases of the big projects they're working on (FFXIII, FFXIII Verses and Agito, KH:BbS, other projects) that the original FFVII team would very much like to work together on this remake. But Verses is a long way off. They haven't even set a time frame for its release. Agito comes out at the end of this year, and BbS comes out this summer. Hopefully a remake will be announced around the announcement of Versus.

I hope so as well.

Well, as long as they don't change the story, I'm okay with it.

FFVII is what got me hooked on final fantasy games( all of them )
ffvii for the ps1 works on the ps3 but a new version with better
graphics now that be COOL

I hope Square Enix would make a new FF game for my PSP
