this poem is called:

The cruzar, cruz

A symbol of my faith
That strengthens me each día
As I por God's grace
Walk the narrow way

tu see God's only son
He gave His life for me
And took my debt of sin
To a place called Calvary

I owe to Him my life
And all I'll ever be
All He asks is that
I'll let Him live thru me

So I run the race
Empowered por his grace
And give Him all the glory
As I look into His face.

jesús IS LORD!

i absolutely just amor this poem. it means so much to me. i hope readers feel the same.

I'm young. Middle school, to be exact. I've lived most of my life surrounded por jesús and the Church, yet I've never felt quite like this.
My middle school Church program has a winter retreat for kids to go on, I went this año and it changed my life. We did all the fun stuff like going trineo and having snowball fights but we also learned about and sang to God. One night the band (Love Always- they're amazing I suggest tu look them up on Facebook) had us come up right in front of the stage to sing with them. Me and my friends jumped up and went to the front. The band was amazing that nigh...

There was a man who loved his son very much. The man worked the bridge for the trains passing over a large reservoir. Him and his son would do everything with eachother; for the son meant the world to the man. Nothing could ever tear them apart. Often, the man would take his son to work with him. They both enjoyed watching the trains as they passed by.
One day, the man was working inside of the small control room, waiting for the siguiente train. Eventually, the train was heard from a distance, as it was nearing the reservoir. On this train were drug addicts, liars, cheaters, and thieves. Sinners...

I'll start por saying this was none of my work.

The Bible says God loves us and made us to know and enjoy Him. But our determination to ignore God and live our own way has cut us off from Him. It says this in Isaiah 59:2, “Your sin has cut tu off from God”. No wonder we often feel like there is something missing in our lives! Every día we offend God with our actions, words and even thoughts. The Bible calls this sin. Examples can be lying, stealing, commiting adultery.

We've all done it, and God says that this is wrong and that it deserves punishment. Romans 6:23 says "The wages of sin is...

I was looking through this club and noticed one of the questions, the one about the "haters" and it made me start thinking, haters are just nonbelievrs! God sends us these "Haters" as an opertunity to mostrar his grace and love! God sends these "Haters" so that they can see what it's like to be a believer. I know it can be rough and anoying to deal with them, but God dicho amor is pacent, and he want's us to greet them with open arms insted of them coming and seeing things that make them think we hate them, because we don't, atleast, I don't, a bunch of my friends are nonbelivers. all i'm saying is, if we say we can't stand them, what sense of God are they going to get. remember, God loves the haters, and as his children we should lead por his example, yes?

THE keeper of the crypt,
A guard of his living tomb;
FROM one corner to the other, alone, in his unholy room...
INSIDE a Pharaohs' grave, a scaarob, the mummies sacramental beetle;
TO ride upon a camels back to reach Heaven, through the Eye of the Needle...
NOW to live in the Kingdom of GOD, is our lifes hope;
A skeptic of religion, the scholar dancing high above on a fragile tightrope...
HE gazzes upon Heaven, although his road leads straight through Hell;
THE black cat crosses his path, the clock in the tower rings its thirteenth bell...
ONES life it would seem, is filled with conjure,...

IS THERE ANOTHER CHRIST?
Have tu ever been lied to? We’ve all been lied to many times. And if we’re honest, we’ll have to admit we’ve told lies – even little “white lies”.
Some believe that only the 7 o’clock newscaster tells the truth. Others only believe their priest, rabbi, o some pastors, no matter what they say. BUT THESE ARE ONLY MEN.
There is much confusion in the world today about God. Many claim to have “The Truth’. When all these disagree, where do we go to find the real truth?
In the Bible, God gave these commandments to Moses:
“Thou shalt have no other gods...

Okay, here's a bit of back-story. My mom and I have been seeing a couple of Jehovah's Witness ladies over the past few months. Both of us have gone to some of their Kingdom Hall meetings, and we've talked and "studied" the Bible together (I use the term "study" very loosely there, 'cause the way they reason through scripture is full of logical fallacies and holes and grr, it's frustrating!), and I like to think that por now we've become good friends. These ladies are very sweet, sincere people and it's been a joy for me to get to know them.

(I'm thinking of escritura an articulo about my experiences...

2 Timothy 3:16-17(NIV)
"16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

I thought that it would be a good idea to write down passages and verses in the Bible that are good for doing just what 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says.

Acts 4:12
12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven dado to men por which we must be saved."(NIV)

Isaiah 52:7
7 How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,

1/ Imagine yourself.
Now imagine tu in your family, and then your family inside of your city.
2/ Again, imagine your city.
Now, imagine your city inside of your state, and your state inside of your country.
Feeling small yet?
3/ Return to imagining your country, and then picture your country on our planet, and our planet in our solar system.
4/ Multiply our solar system por a few hundred thousand, and you'll start to understand how big our galaxy is.
5/ Multiply our galaxy by, well, infinity, and tu still can't grasp how big our universe is.
Or how many alternate universes there are, if tu wanna...

Just some Christian pick-up lines that I picked up at a fecha night at Youth Group a few weeks ago.

1) You're looking for a knight in shining armor? It just so happens that I'm wearing the armor of God!

2) God dicho that tu were made in his image, and boy, was He right!

3) Is this the transfiguration? Because you're glowing!

4) Moses parted the Red sea, but baby, ain't nothing parting us!

5) tu must be a fisher of men, 'coz tu just reeled me in!

6) Now I know why Solomon had 700 wives... Because he never met you.

7) tu float my ark

The unexpected violent storm was frightening enough as it tossed the fragile barco with the twelve gasping disciples. Then the apparition of a man walking on the water as on solid ground just made things worse. It could only be a spirit-death itself, perhaps, coming to get them...

The reassuring words of Jesus, "It is I, do not be afraid" needed to be verified. Peter thought he could put the Lord to the test. He did not realize that now he was the one being tested. His faith was being tested. And it was soon obvious that he was failing the test. He daring request, "Tell me to come to tu across...

Faith gasped and then opened her eyes. That was the thing about the cancer. It made tu have difficulty breathing sometimes. She looked around, and saw a very sad Chiwen, and a worried Esther. "Faith?"
"Mmm?"
"What's it like?"
"What's what like?"
"Being seriously ill. Is it scary, o are tu okay with it?"
"A bit of both. I mean, I know where I'm going-" Esther interrupted.
"Heaven?" Faith nodded her head, then continued.
"-but I'm also scared."
"Why?"...

This does NOT belong to me. I heard it at a church camp. It comes from a book somewhere. May be slightly different.

As fellow believers, what is the best thing we can do for one another? A teacher once asked this to his Bible class. Some of the suggestions were: being a friend to someone, sticking up for the bullied kid and handing out Bible tracts.

But a point was made that tu wouldn't necessarily have to be a Christian to do these things. Then a girl spoke up and suggested praying for someone. They discussed this idea and found that it was the best answer.

Now why is praying the best thing we can do for someone? It is because we are offering them God's help, instead of human help. There is only so much humans can do, but God can do anything. So pray for a friend today!

A poem that I found that I had written a few months ago

Why is it
the person I need most,
says He's there for me,
but yet He's so so far away?

Why is it
someone so mighty,
so powerful and huge,
has a voice that's impossible to hear?

Why is it
that when I give Him my sorrow,
and He takes it with no question,
more comes and quickly takes its place?

Why is it
that I'm supposed to follow His command,
and do what He says,
but He won't give me directions?

Why is it
that I should believe a practical stranger loves me
when those who know me best
say that lie to my face?

Why is it
no matter how hard I fight
to stay in the...

It's kind of how my día went. I was on facebook and I found an articulo about some teenage exorcist girls who travel the world. I found it facinating and I thought to my self that I really apreciate what they do even though I don't know much about the subject. In the end of the article, one of the girls dicho that she doesn't watch TV and that she thinks cine like Twilight and Harry Potter are evil o something like that. I really amor HP and cine in general and I can recognize what's fiction and movie effects and what's real and evil, but still this brought weird thoughts to me. Like, I...
