The siguiente día after breakfast, Lydia went out to look for a job at the local rescue shelter. The owner of the shelter said, "I'm sorry. We're not hiring anyone right now." Lydia said, "Okay. Well, thanks anyway." The owner of the shelter said, "Good luck in finding a new job." Lydia looked for jobs at other places she thought she would enjoy, but she didn't have any luck. At lunch time, Lydia decided to meet John and the others for lunch. She told them the bad news. Catherine said, "I'm sorry your job buscar was unsuccessful." Gavin said, "I'm sorry, too." Marie said, "I'm sure you'll find something. I just know it." Rebecca said, "That's right." Pattie said, "Maybe something will find you." John said, "I agree." Back at home, Lydia went to her bedroom and collapsed on her bed. She sobbed as she snuggled with her puppy, Foxy. She then heard a knock on the door. She said, "Come in." Pattie came in and asked, "Are tu all right, Lydia?" Lydia said, "No." Pattie sat siguiente to Lydia and said, "Tell me what's wrong." Lydia asked, "You know how the Beatles song, 'I'm a Loser', makes me want to give John a hug and tell him he's not a loser?" Pattie said, "Yes." Lydia said, "Well, sometimes I think I can relate to it. The loser is me." Pattie hugged Lydia and said, "Lydia, you're not a loser." Lydia said, "Yes, I am." Pattie said, "No, Lydia. You're not a loser. You're a great friend, and I know that a new job will find tu someday. I just know it." Lydia said, "That's what best friends are supposed to say, even if it's not true." Pattie said, "Lydia, it is true." This made Lydia smile. She wiped away her tears and asked, "Pattie, how do tu always know how to make me feel better?" Pattie said, "It's an intuition among friends, and tu always do the same for me." Lydia said, "Of course. That's what friends are for."

This is a special request from Kayla. I'm sorry about what you've been going through recently. I understand how you're feeling right now, as I miss doing my usual daily schedule too. It sucks, honestly.
