Lydia continued to live in denial that her relationship with Alan was over. In February, she began to rethink things. She decided the relationship wasn't going anywhere. She wanted to break up with him without hurting him, so she turned to a friend for advice. Lydia said, "Catherine, I'm thinking about breaking up with my boyfriend. We haven't seen each other since Valentine's día last year, and we haven't spoken since at least the summer. I feel like the relationship isn't going anywhere, but we had some good times together." Catherine said, "Lydia, it doesn't make sense that tu call this guy your boyfriend when tu haven't seen each other in nearly a año and haven't spoken in so long. It seems to me that you've already broken up. Does he live far away?" Lydia said, "He doesn't live far away. He lives in a neighboring town. My mother says I might as well assume it's over, because he's done with me." Catherine said, "Maybe he assumes it's over. He may be seeing someone else." Lydia said, "I think he's become a recluse. His mother says he never wants to go anywhere." Catherine said, "Don't tie yourself down to a recluse. tu told me that tu get bored staying at home." Lydia brushed it off por pretending it wasn't a big deal. Finally, she broke down after refusing to let herself be sad. She came crying to Rebecca. Rebecca asked, "Are tu okay? What's wrong, my friend?" Lydia said, "I'm not okay. I'm feeling lonely." Rebecca said, "I know how tu feel. Would tu like for me to cheer tu up?" Lydia said, "I could use some cheering up." Rebecca sent a link to a funny video. This made Lydia laugh. Marie told Lydia, "I don't understand why anyone would want to hurt tu like that." Catherine said, "I can understand why you're not willing to amor again. That's the main reason I'm not romantic." Gavin said, "I'd like to find that bastard and tell him off for hurting you, love." Pattie was deeply concerned. She hoped that Lydia would be okay. Pattie told Lydia, "I wish I could do something to make tu feel better." Lydia said, "Pattie, all tu have to do is keep talking to me." Later, Pattie told Lydia, "I'm glad your corazón isn't gone. I wish I could tell tu it won't be broken forever." Lydia said, "I don't think it will be. I'm actually starting to feel better." Pattie said, "That's great! I was hoping tu would feel better for a long time." One day, Lydia told Pattie, "It's hard not to be all right when you're talking to your best friend." Pattie said, "That's sweet of you." Lydia said, "It's the truth. You're my best friend." Pattie said, "And you're mine."

This is a special request from Kayla. I'm sorry about what you've been going through recently. I understand how you're feeling right now, as I miss doing my usual daily schedule too. It sucks, honestly.
However, I just want to remind tu once again that I and the rest of your fanpop friends are here for you, no matter what. I know this virus will not last forever and that we'll eventually overcome this. Like all good things, all bad things must come to an end.
And as the saying goes, "There's a light at the end of the tunnel." Remember that!
Peace and love,
