I remember visiting this website once...
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Benedict Cumberbatch is making audiences swoon and critics take note in “Hamlet” in London.
Live broadcast of Benedict Cumberbatch in “Hamlet” comes to SIFF on Thursday, Oct. 15 with encore viewings to follow.
Benedict Cumberbatch, one of Britain’s most celebrated actors, will appear live in Seattle on Thursday, Oct. 15. Not live i
mind you, but live in an international satellite broadcast of “Hamlet,” beamed directly from London’s Barbican Theatre (it opened there in August). It airs at 11 a.m. at SIFF Cinema Uptown. (There will be a 7 p.m. encore broadcast the same day, and several more chances to see a recorded version through Nov. 1.)
After suffering the slings and arrows of outrageous publicity, and pleading with his swooning fans to stop recording his soliloquies with their cellphones, Cumberbatch (the versatile star of “The Imitation Game” and TV’s “Sherlock”) has won praise from critics for his modern-dress turn as Shakespeare’s conflicted Prince of Denmark. Now you can check out his stage chops, too.
