I agree. I wonder why Mattel likes to make the sidekick is prettier than the main?

Well, whether the "sidekick" is prettier than the main or not is a matter of opinion, so it's not like Mattel is deliberately making the princess prettier or anything. Well, my vote still goes to Mari.

She looks wonderful and I think she will be one of the most beautiful BM characters. Of course Mariposa I like, too.

Fairy Princess will be my new favorite character in BM.

I think she suits the new animation style better. It works better on her than it does on Mariposa, in my opinion at least.
