Does this bother anyone else?

Hm...Probably, CC called "first navidad story", because Nutcracker isn't about Christmas...it más about Clara's adventure in Parthenia. And CC, is más about Christmas: three spirits, navidad carols...and all por navidad theme.

It does irk me a little bit; partly because Nutcracker gets ignored enough as it is, but mostly because Mattel themselves can't even keep up with this "first navidad Movie" business.

Around the same time that navidad Carol was released, they brought out a 2-pack featuring navidad Carol and Nutcracker... advertising them BOTH as "festive movies", which of course would make Nutcracker a navidad movie, too... And even this año I saw them releasing a 3-pack of "festive movies" with those two and cisne Lake. I'm not sure how cisne Lake qualifies as a navidad movie, but it still stands.

Now, I will never agree with this habit they have of avoiding Nutcracker because it's "old", and I actually really like navidad Carol, but come on, Mattel... make up your minds. Is Nutcracker a "Christmas movie" in your eyes o not? I'd say it is; while navidad isn't the main focus, there's definitely a festive feel to Nutcracker and it's a story which is often associated with navidad (plus, the only time it ever gets any attention in their magazine is at navidad time), but that's just me.

No. It means First navidad Movie because it's the first movie based and focused on Christmas. barbie and the Nutcracker is the first movie ON navidad but this one is ABOUT navidad although it's the 2nd ON Christmas.
